Love this drug store powder for an old lady !!
I am 63 years old. There aren't many drug store powders I am able to say don't make me look cakey. This is a beautiful soft powder. My makeup lasts a long time. Dusted lightly it turns out beautiful. Large container kind of messy but unless you are carrying it around, it is fine for the vanity. Love this. I had BYE BYE Pores for a very long time. That stopped working for me. Then I went to Milani conceal and perfect compact that still works; however, I feel this W n W lasts a bit longer than the Milani. Also, NYX loose powder that's just okay in a pinch. This Wet n Wild is my go to now. Love It and it's cheap too.

I like it so far UPDATE
So I usually buy the Coty Airspun however it wouldn’t get here in time. So here I am; after doing some research (reading reviews and comparing price points) I settled on the Wet n Wild photo focus in the shade banana. I will say using it now for the first time I’m pretty impressed. I use it to bake (yes I know it’s no longer 2016 but hey old habits die hard) under my eyes while I do my eye makeup. It did a pretty good job and did not crease my makeup. I have pretty oily skin and even after a few hours I still haven’t needed to blot or touch up. The true test will be when I work; I bartend and run around a lot so that’ll determine how this really wears. I’m happy for now and will update my review after further testing. Here are some pics on how it wore for the first 4 hours. UPDATE: 1 month later. Tbh I was pretty skeptical at first and was worried it wouldn’t hold up throughout my workday HOWEVER I am highly impressed! Yes, I still have to blot my face here and there because I’m oily but it doesn’t crease or settle ! Nor does it break/ separate my foundation and it looks great!

My Holy Grail
I been using this loose powder for the last 5 years. I love that it still inexpensive and it works great. Makes my makeup last long and gives a flawless look with many foundation or tinted moisturizer.

Best setting powder that I've ever tried
This powder is blurring so much, stayed all night (I went dancing) and left with a very beautiful finish (my skin looked like satin but I could still see the glow from my fondation and primer). Literally I couldn't see any pores and even my liquid blush and contour stayed on all night. Definitely recommend 100%.

Just beware...
The container is huge and it goes on very nice. I'm very yellow so I'm quite biased when it comes to the Banana Powder as it is absolutely perfect for me. If you're yellow you'll love it and if you're not you'll hate it. It sets your makeup very well however if you're used to the laura Mercy one. This one is is identical in terms of application but not in terms of stay. Laura mercier's translucent powder stays on even if water touches it, this one doesn't. Slight bit of water it will melt off your face. So that's the only downfall... I'm going to use this one during the winter but seeing as I discovered so quickly that water will make it melt I don't think I would use it in summer, I would go back to my Laura Mercier

I love this!
I’ve never used a translucent powder before and was after something to just apply after foundation to kind of set it all in and smooth things over before the rest of my makeup is applied. I love this! I read so many reviews and debated so many powders before finally settling on this. It’s good value for money, stays on for ages and just makes me feel better about setting myself up for the day. Very happy!

Old powder into the donation box
I'd been using Marcelle powder for decades, never really using it much because it looked dusty sitting atop my neutral combination skin. After research I selected this in Translucent and Banana. I love both. They don't sit on the skin, they melt in blurring my fine lines and setting my makeup. It is matte, so I do use an illuminating powder for highlighting areas and sometimes under the eyes. It holds up well throughout the day, absorbs oil and doesn't give my skin a chalky or tight appearance. I use these for baking as well as a light dusting, using the banana to brighten my odd, increasingly drab, neutral skin. I will repurchase.
