Buy this Machine before they are gone!!!!!!
This product is great. I would definitely encourage you to purchase it. I got the machine today, it came packed very well and there wasn't any damage to the machine. I got the machine home, I had it delivered to my work, opened it up and it was in a few pieces that were easy to assemble. So the machine is all set to go so I fill the top with ice to the line and close it, no problems, I slide the ice nozzle over to add my ingredient's and then put it back, very intuitive. Plugged it in, turned it on, chose the settings and pushed the start button. Now this is the only reason this product doesn't get five stars. When I hit that start button this thing came to life like you wouldn't believe. It started to shave the ice on top of the machine and blend the mix in the container and the sound it made was incredible. It was VERY loud, and I mean LOUD. Now this is normal and really to be expected because hey it's high powered blender and a heavy duty ice shaver powering away to make you some frosty goodness as fast possible. So to be fair I had to take a star away for the noise. When you set this thing off everyone around is going to look at what the racket is, but I would say it's a small price to pay. So now the cycle is done and it looks good and icy and mixed like it should be. So I take my glass and push it up against that lever of icy happiness and it comes to life again, a little less than before because the ice shaver on top stays off, and out it comes with some pretty good force. There were some really small drops that bounced out of my glass, like a really fine mist, no problem though. So I take that first sip and it's good, not great though because I like my drinks a little more icy so what do I do? I hit that shave ice button and fill the container with more shavings till it looks like the arctic and hit the blend button for a second and now it's Great. I just love this machine. I'm in Southern California and it's going to get plenty hot this summer and this miracle of icy joy is going to make those days pass by with no problems, as long as I don't run out of mix and ice. So don't hesitate to hit that order button, I know this baby is pricy but it is definitely worth it. It's 80 degrees at 10 at night as I'm writing this and I have to tell you this "Frozen Concoction" I have here sweating away, instead of me, has me feeling cool as a cucumber. I also would recommend the extended warranty I got when I bought the machine. I know, I know usually they are a waste of money but for $30-$40 for 4 years they pay for shipping it back and if it can't be fixed they give you your money back. Now I tell you for that amount of money how can you go wrong? It pays for itself just with the shipping costs. So Frosty goodness and peace of mind, you can't go wrong. Thank you.

Great machine -- if you power it correctly
Make sure you plug your Bali into an electrical circuit that's not powering anything else requiring much power. Otherwise, the 650-watt motor driving the blades will continually stall. Do that, and you'll agree this machine definitely kicks butt and takes names. I learned that the hard way, after spending a frustrating hour and a half trying to get my new Bali to shave ice efficiently while plugged in at my outdoor bar. It would go on, shave (rather meekly) for a few seconds, then lock up and hum before shutting off completely. I'd wait a minute or two, turn it back on, and the same thing would happen. On a whim, I moved it inside and plugged it in on our kitchen island outlet. It ran like a jet engine. The difference? The kitchen island receptacles are on a kitchen circuit that wasn't powering anything at the time. My bar receptacles, on the other hand, are on the same circuit that powers my pool light, several landscape lights, my pool filter and a string of decorative lights on my bar roof. The switch for the lights has to be turned on to get power to the receptacles. So it was either power everything or power nothing. Once I got the Bali properly powered, it was great fun to use. It effortlessly shaved household ice cubes straight from the freezer and mixed them with pre-loaded margarita mix (plus tequila ... plus triple sec) to make perfect frozen 'ritas. And by perfect, I mean they astounded even my former bartender-and-restaurant-manager son, who happened to stop by when he heard I just bought a frozen concoction maker.. Cleanup was pretty easy. Just ran some soapy water through the canister and drink dispenser, and rinsed it with a couple of cycles of plain cold water. Drawbacks? It's loud as hell when it's running properly, but the noise only lasts a minute or two. Also, as other reviewers have said, the drink canister does leak a teeny bit. "Leak" might even be too strong a word. I'd describe it as a bit of seepage at the bottom of the canister -- probably the result of the Bali jiggling vigorously during the ice-shaving cycle. So, in summary: Great unit if you give it the power it requires.

Easy to use and serve a lot of people
Got this for a chili cook off and we served 800 drinks (margaritas) with it over a few hours our professional bartender who thought it was a joke at first wanted to know where I got it by the time we were done, she said she is getting one. Easy to run just read the super simple instructions. It lets you mix it with more or less ice which helped us stretch it out toward the end.

Love it!
Just unpacked it yesterday and set it up. Came mint even though it was a warehouse deal. Worked perfect and one of the best pina coladas I’ve had. Looking forward to summer. The system is really easy to use and the automatic dispenser is perfect!

The machine is HUGE
Be prepared that this machine takes up a lot of residual space on counter. Do place it in an open area and not tucked under a counter space that has cabinets above. Having said that. I still have to tweak some settings but it worked great!! Got 10 margaritas drinks out of a full chamber. I’m going to love my maker especially in the summer!

Manual control is awesome!
I had the Bahamas maker previously (it busted and couldn't be fixed) and find that the Bali maker is superior in every way because of the robust design and most importantly the option to shave the ice manually. The preset buttons for drinks are great and work as intended but having control over the ice mixture by using the manual button makes the money charged for this maker well worth it.

La machine est extrêmement bruyant de plus le mélange doit être très liquide pour qu’il puisse sortir adéquatement. Très mauvaise achat de plus le vendeur ne donne aucune réponse pour un retour.
