These are a beast

I’m in a high wind area and was worried that regular hinges wouldn’t stand up after the last set got torn up in the winds we’ve have. With theses I am more worried that the structure they are attached to will fail before I am ever concerned with the hinges.

Just as advertised...

I needed to mount a 14 foot metal gate onto a 6X6 wood post [H-braced of course!]---this is the most heavy-duty hinge bolt I could find and the installation turned out great! Note, when mounting such a heavy gate make sure to provide something for the free end to rest on, it will relieve the stress on your gate post for much longer service!

Not the size I neededbut at least they had the part.

I gave this item 4 stars because the seller had the style bolt hinge I needed but I needed 1/2" diameter X 6" long and they only offered the 3/4" diameter X 10" long which means I have to do some cutting and spent $22.00 for a 3/4" drill bit to enlarge the 1/2" hole to accommodate this bolt hinge. It seems to be of good quality and workmanship and all was intact in the shipping when I received it.

Storng, well made!

Great gate mounts. Very sturdy and lots of adjustment. We hung a 16ft steel tube gate on a 6x6 timber and still have inches of adjustment. I greased the pins with red axle grease and the gate swings freely to open or close. I will buy these for our next gate install.
