Not worth the money but it works
Needing a mattress cover is an annoying situation to be in because their are no good options. I shopped around trying to find a good deal on a cover like this and I found that there are no good deals on plastic mattress covers. I bought this to store an extra bed in the garage without it getting all dirty, and while this product fulfills my needs, I don't believe it is worth this price. This product should be under $5 as it is only a large piece of plastic and it is not reusable. Some would call me cheap, but $13 for a large piece of plastic is absurd. Hopefully you are not in my situation and you don't ever need to buy one of these, but if you do this one will suffice. Just know that you are getting hosed. I will still give it four stars because a review should speak to the quality of an item and item came as described.

Great quality mattress protector, don't waste your time with the cheap ones.
Having moved once before and used the crappy home store mattress protectors and subsequently had them break open at some point either during moving them into the truck, while in the truck somehow, or while moving them in. The Seal Tite mattress storage system while close to twice as much as the other options lasted significantly better than the other. Your mileage may vary on whether or not it will fit both mattress or boxspring for you, but for me it did fit both mattress and boxspring for our spare bed, but not our main bed (thicker mattress.) One thing to keep in mind is that it is very difficult to move the mattress and box spring together so you might want to simply keep the box spring out. The closure is tight and the plastic is thick on this product and we did not experience any tearing issues whatsoever. I wish these were reusable and I am sure some people do reuse them, but they're not intended for this purpose.

Exactly what I needed.
Love this. This has been the second time I have used this same product for my queen mattress. I have a memory foam mattress and it doesn't have any handles to carry it with and I didn't wanna risk poking holes in it while trying to carry it or getting it dirty (I lived on the 3rd floor in a condo so the stairs were outside). It doesn't have any handles on the bag but there is a bit of extra room in the bag even for a queen size so there was extra material to use as a handle haha. This is a simple product that did what I needed. Honestly I let the mattress just slide down the stairs and hit the ground lol so I know it's durable because there wasn't any holes in it at all. I will order this every time I need to move.

Durable plastic with only a small tear
I'm abroad for a year and needed a way of protecting my mattresses while in storage. I bought two of these for my twin mattress and my box springs. The plastic did tear a little when we were putting it on the box springs, but I think it was just due to the sharp edges of the box springs and the angle in which we inserted the box springs into the bag. It wasn't anything that a little tape couldn't fix though. The plastic lasted just fine for the hour trip to where I am storing my stuff, and didn't tear at all as we moved the mattresses into the storage room. I especially liked that plastic was thick.

It WORKED!
I bought this hoping that I could vacuum seal my Purple mattress into a roll that would fit into my little hatchback. The bag is super thick and doesn't rip easily. There is no adhesive at the closure so I had to go nuts with the duct tape but it worked. I poked a hole in the bottom corner, stuck a shop vac hose in, sealed that with tape and voilà! My mattress compressed to half it's original size and 1/3 of the size it was when I tried to roll it using ratchet straps. You definitely need at least two strong people to get it done but I'm very happy with how it worked out for me!

good size, easy to seal, not quite "HEAVY" duty
I bought these to store a queen size mattress and a boxspring. The mattress is rather deep and fit easily. The peel-off tape to seal was also easy to use and quite strong. And while these are DEFINITELY stronger/thicker than other cheap-o mattress bags you'll find, calling them "heavy-duty" seems a like a small overstatement. I'd be happy to count on them to move in and out of a moving van and maybe into a storage facility once, but they aren't quite as strong as the super-duper plastic that mattresses tend to arrive in from retailers.

Overall very happy with it
Works well but it isn't as large as other reviews say. Someone stated that they put a Queen size mattress and box spring in one. This isn't possible. I bought one for each though, and it worked well. They are strong but not indestructible. You can rip through it if you try. If you drag it on a rough surface like concrete it will tear. We didn't drag it far so it worked well for us.

Good for storing mattress
This is gigantic. I need to put a full size mattress in storage (aka my attic), and didn't want dust and junk to collect onto it. So, I bought this. It's a thick plastic. Very slippery. If you have 2 people, you'd be able to get the mattress inside very easily. With just one person, it was a bit of a struggle, but I eventually did it. lol It has a sticky strip on one end to seal over onto itself. I had to slide it across hardwood floors and a couple thresholds and the plastic didn't tear, so I'm happy with it.

Disappointed
This isn’t a bad product..I find it rather hard which is ok but if you lay in a spot for a few hours and get up and go back your spot is still flat..doesn’t seem like good memory foam…I wouldn’t recommend it but I’m satisfied with the purchase and it fit in my RV perfectly!

I've had cling film stronger than this.
This product is NOT durable, nor thick, in the slightest. It ripped in no less than 5 places when going over our mattress. The adhesive 'seal' is weak and poorly positioned. I would have expected such a product to be around a $2-5 price point, not $20. Very disappointed, and would definitely NOT recommend.

Not great
Not very durable. While siding my mattress in the bag it caught on an edge of a plastic storage tote and ripped a little hole in the bag. I wasn't pushing very hard and only moved it a couple of inches. Easily fixed with some duct tape. Do like it's resealable but not sure how long the seal (tape) will last.
