wow this thing is awesome
My son was struggling in his first year of coach pitch, it just wasn't any fun for him to keep striking out. Then I purchased this to help improve his batting and boy did it work. He went from being the worst batter on his team to one of the best over just 3 weeks of using it consistently. Now the games are fun because he always gets a hit, running bases and scoring like the rest of the team. Now its as fun as t ball was last year. One of the best products I have ever purchased. This thrower is very consistent and has enough adjustments to fit whatever speed, distance, or arc you need. My throwing wasn't the best, probably only 1 of every 3 pitches of mine were actually good, so the consistency of the machine is a huge energy and time saver. Every swing is at a good ball to help ingrain good swing memory. If your kid is struggling with batting, buy this, practice several times a week and be prepared for alot of fun cheering your kid on as they hammer the ball.

Works well but be aware
The cotterless hitch pin failed 30 minutes into use allowing the spring to come off. Kept going as it was coming off when not under pressure - until it did and left a softball size bruise on my thigh. Got a better method of securing it from the hardware store and should be fine now. Also a pain to switch the attachments as can't keep the bolt for the pitch attachment down without a screwdriver.

So fun!
It took a bit for me to figure out how to adjust it properly, but it's great! My 8 year old loves it, especially the fly ball feature.

I really like it so far!
Ok. I purchased this for my youngest son. We travel with it in a cart to the park. It's not tremendously heavy but it's bulky. It's was a little hard to figure out at first. We had to play with distance and pitch speed settings a bit before getting the right placment over the plate for my son's height. Make sure to use the ground rods to keep the machine in place because the force of the throw will make the machine move and you'll have to readjust after every pitch. The metal movable setting key (don't know what it's called) to change the settings is a bit annoying especially since there are 3 sections to change. I wish it can transition from setting to setting much more easily. Ultimately it pitches well, throws good enough fly balls for little leagueers. We are still learning about the settings and so I hope we can go a bit longer and higher with the fly balls. Hope this review helps.

Super easy to use!
This is very easy to learn how to use. The key, I learned, is that the baseball needs to be put on the same way every time to increase consistency. IE 4 seam alignment and on the seam. The better the ball the more consistent as well. Will even throw wiffles with consistency (not the wiffles with holes on one side the regular wiffles). Any inconsistency is usually do to the back leg sliding from the vibration of each pitch. Minor adjustments usually get it dialed back in. Up and down misses are usually the ball, how it was placed or the front is coming loose and out of the ground. Great for catchers to work on blocking, receiving etc.. Want consistent ground balls? Check, Fly balls? No idea, haven't tried that yet Lots of reps for hitting with consistent location? Absolutely. --I think its especially great for 10U and under because they can see traditional ball flight coming in as opposed to dads who lob balls in more like a slow pitch softball player developing massive uppercuts. Not to mention the release point just being way higher than what you see at this age.

Better on flat surface where it doesn’t move
It does what it advertises, which makes me happy…but it has one annoyance. It works great in the batting cage on a flat surface (minimal movement and when it moves a tiny bit I can set it back quickly and easily). However on a gavel baseball field that’s not perfectly level like the cage it’s a bit more cumbersome to use. It also shifts A LOT more on gravel/sand (I don’t use the stakes). It also doesn’t pitch the ball at the same spot all the time, which is great…I want the ball mostly moving in the strike zone with some balls to teach the kids to load while judging if it’s a ball or strike. If I set it for the inside corner 80-90% of all the balls will go to the inside corner…the most misses without the machine slightly shifting are cause by the machine under throwing or overthrowing the ball; which again is good practice for the batter’s vision.

Great machine
Once I figured out how to set the ball and the pitching hight. The pin at the bottom kept sliding out so I used plastic ties to keep pin in place. And got the ball set correct the kids got some good practice. Would do 4.5 if possible. Just .5 off becuase of the pin coming loose.

Works great. Easy to assemble. Kids love it.
I bought this for my grandkids to work on their ball skills. It works great. They love working the machine as much as they love the batting practice. Just have to supervise when they're working it. It was a bit confusing to assemble, but in the end it was me reading the instructions wrong. It's not really very hard to put together.
