Great coffee maker!
I really like the Keurig coffee maker. It is high-quality and makes great coffee. I like the dual feature, so we have a choice of whether to make single cups or a full pot. With single cups, you have a choice of cup size. It is well worth the price. I would highly recommend this product over cheaper ones. The reservoir is easy to fill in place with a faucet sprayer. Just a heads-up, the gold screen-type coffee filter basket is sold separately. If you don't want to use paper filters, be sure to order one. They are available on Amazon. We also ordered a pair of single mesh K-pods, so we can use our own coffee grounds for single cups of coffee. It's a nice alternative to buying the expensive pre-filled K-cups pods.

So this is my second one in 14months
Brooklyn Review. The duo is really a good machine in that it brews cups, can handle a pot, and is easily programmed for those early mornings when you just need to pour and go. The problem here is that my first one (also purchased here) died in 14 months. I purchased it December 2021 and it was dead by March 2023. When I opened my old one up it seems to be that the water lines get clogged even if you are descaling. (Pure observational opinion here: I think the added pump pressure from the clogged lines trips a fail safe that then shuts the machine down. I tried cleaning the lines but it was a no go for me). Therefore based on this premature failure I can only give this device 4 stars. I did buy a second one because I love the functions and ease of use. On a positive note this second one came with a filter. Maybe the use of the filter and more descaling will extend the life of this new Duo!

Keurig “Duo” Coffee Maker
We bought this machine to replace our older Keurig single serving machine. This one is so much nicer I’m glad we made the decision to buy it. We can still make one up at a time for my wife and I and also twelve cups in the the other side if we have company over. Very happy with the product. It came the same day we ordered it as promised. Amazon has never disappointed us with any purchase.

Ideal for a quick fix
My wife and I used to make stovetop espresso every morning back when we had time for that. After our first kid we went with a normal drip coffee maker, but when that broke we finally gave in and got this Keurig Duo. It's not the best cup of coffee but when you only have a minute in the morning to make a cup while dodging flying pancakes from the little one it makes do. Overall I find most k-cups we've tried at the 8oz setting to be too weak to my taste but it's servicable coffee. If you get the refillable cup I'd go with a fine grind since the more coarse grind makes a very diluted coffee even at 8oz. No complaints with the drip coffee part though, keeps the pot warm for about an hour or so and reheats fairly quickly.

Best coffee maker ever! Just re-purchased!
I had my last one for about five years. Just got the exact same one again and kept the older one's carafe. Coffee stays hot in thermal carafe. Never gets the burn taste because NO BURNER! Huzzah! Keurig option is brilliant. When the rest of the coffee drinkers in my house aren't around I love the single cup option. Every part of this that gets dirty can be thrown in the dishwasher. Run vinegar to keep the water lines clean. After about 4 years my last one stopped filling the coffee pot all the way to the amount we made. My guess is the lines were clogged from our hard water. But besides that it still worked perfectly. It takes a while to push all the correct buttons to get the right feature going, and it is hard to explain to someone if you aren't looking at the unit, but it's worth it!

Keurig K-Duo Plus vs Hamilton Beach FlexBrew
I purchased both of these pots at the same time (Keurig here on Amazon and the FlexBrew from our local big-box store). Here is my analysis: Things these two share in common: * They make great coffee! * They both make a carafe or a single serving with a K-cup or with your own grounds in a k-cup adapter. * They both make a carafe with up to 12 cups, or 60 oz (you lose some fluid in the brew process, achieving more like 56 to 57 oz). * They are both programmable for an auto-brew. * They both have an option for strong/bold coffee and the option applies to both the carafe and the single-serving side. Keurig K-Duo Plus pros: * Attractive. * Small footprint good for smaller kitchens. * Has a reservoir to hold water for multiple cups. * Comes with a thermal carafe. * Comes with a gold filter and water filter. * Has easy-to-read push buttons for size options. * Carafe and single cup options come out of the same spout - less cleaning involved. * Fast brew process. * Little to no steam escaping the top, so it seems safe to place under cabinets. And because of the separate removable reservoir, it can be used just fine beneath cabinets without pulling it out to fill. Keurig K-Duo Plus cons: * Expensive. * Size options limited. For a carafe, you can choose 6, 8, 10, or 12 cups. For a single cup, you have the same choices (in ounces). There are no in-between sizes, and the maximum K-cup size you can make is 12 oz. * Coffee filter basket is a bit hard to pull out and push back in. * Gold filter does not have a handle. * To use a "My K-cup" adapter with your own grounds requires fully pulling out the coffee basket, reaching up inside, and popping out the piece that punctures the K-cup. So switching between K-cups and your own grounds for a single brew is super cumbersome. * Does not include a "My K-cup" adapter for your own grounds. That must be purchased separately. * Height is quite tall and it can be difficult to see the button controls if your cabinets are low or cast a shadow. Could be difficult to insert a K-cup for some. Hamilton Beach FlexBrew pros: * MUCH more affordable. * Less buttons to push as water output is based upon how much water you put in at the time of brewing. * Single serving side will do up to 14 ounces. * Single serving size is dependent upon how much water you put in, thus making the size more customizable - so you can do a small espresso cup, for example, with only 4 ounces. * Carafe sizes are also customizable up to 12 cups, based upon how much water your put in. * Slightly shorter than the Keurig. * Includes a mesh filter for the single-serving side, for using your own grounds. * Storage for the single-serving mesh filter is beneath the single-serving drip tray which is quite handy. * Coffee is really hot, so you can add liquid creamer and not feel like you have to microwave it. Hamilton FlexBrew cons: * Not as attractive as the Keurig. Bulkier. * Does NOT include a gold filter. That must be purchased separately. * Does not have a reservoir that stays filled and ready to go. It must be filled each time you brew. * Takes longer to brew than the Keurig. * Two separate spouts for carafe and for single serving. Therefore, two spouts that need cleaning/descaling. * No thermal carafe included (They have that as another model, but it only does 10 cups). * More difficult to fill the reservoirs since they are at the back of the machine. If placing this beneath cabinets, one would probably need to pull the machine out when using in order to reach and fill the reservoirs. Final decision: in the end, I went for the FlexBrew, as I decided I preferred the ability to make up to 14 ounces on the single-serving side, so it fully fills my cup. While the instructions say not to exceed 10 ounces for actual K-cups, I have been putting in 14 ounces, selecting the bold brew, and it seems to work just fine. I also like that it's easy to switch between K-cups and using your own grounds on the single-serving side. Plus, there's storage for the mesh filter right on the pot, so I don't have to go searching for the accessory. The better price tag is a big factor too, of course. I did end up buying a gold filter and a separate thermal carafe for those days when needed, although we usually drink the full carafe pretty quickly. Even with the purchase of the thermal carafe and gold filter, the price tag on this is still significantly less than the Keurig. I didn't need to place this beneath a cabinet, so that issue wasn't significant for me. If you need yours beneath a cabinet, I would probably recommend the Keurig.

Exactly What You’d Think
This is a Keurig product, so the quality is there. I did have to read to book to find the magic combination of buttons to press but it is simple to use once you know it. We’ve had a tea maker and a keurig on the counter forever and it always seemed disorganized and consumed space. After thorough research this combo maker had one of the smallest footprints with the best options (both kcups and grounds). We make sweet tea on the big pot side and coffee in the individual side. Works great and the space is much less cluttered.

Worked perfectly...for 1 day!
The is an awesome looking duo coffee machine. Brewed both carafe and single serve portions to perfection for 1 day. No power, no lights, nothing....reset....still nothing. Hopefully just a lemon. Returned two days after receiving it. Hopefully replacement will be better! UPDATE…Feb 27, water all over the counter and the machine has no power…10 Days past Amazon return window. Amazon connected me with Keurig who took all my info and said would send me email with next steps to having replacement send. Asked when I would get email and was advised as soon as call was over…reconfirmed rep had my correct email…nothing received. Amazon followed up advised that I had not received email. They asked me to wait until tomorrow and the will follow up again. This is a terrible product…although it looks great it is the second one which has lost complete power. Too late to return so hoping a replacement will be better assuming I actually get it. Do yourself a favour and find a better machine because this one is garbage…can’t believe I’ve waisted money on it. Very dissatisfied with Keurig! Amazon followed up as promised and they are sending a replacement tomorrow. Had to return defective unit but it was junk anyway. Hoping third one is a keeper but I’ll never buy another Keurig machine. Thanks for your outstanding customer support Amazon!

Makes good coffee.
I wish it poured a 16 oz. cup.

easy to use
Machine feels well-made. Thermal carafe pours without spilling a drop - and empties to the last drop.

Big improvement over the earlier K-Duo model
This machine takes up much less counter space than the earlier K-Duo, which I replaced after breaking two glass carafes, which are very expensive and slow to be delivered. It takes up less counter space and the water tank is easier to handle. It brews more quickly and the insulated stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot longer than the old one, which switched off automatically after a period of time. And hopefully, this carafe is unlikely to break.
