Came dry
Mine was all dry and crumbly. It still worked, but it was a pain to use with a brush. I have stuff to make my own eyeshadows so i added some Isododecane to wet it again and it works great. Probably changed how it preforms since it wasnt staying on very long and was easy to wipe away. Now it stays on much longer than when i first tested it and isnt as easy to wipe and wash off. I tested with and without a primer. without a primer it wipes away easily and fades pretty fast. I dont wipe my eyes hard too, just scratching my brow bone usually. Usually dont have problems with that. With a primer, even a face primer, it performs a lot better. I do have oily greasy teary eyes though. Hard to find stuff that lasts for me. The color is just like the pics, sparkly but not glittery. If you dont like sparkly shimmer dont buy it! Another brand i love has cream eyeshadows that preform better and are cheaper. Theyre about $6 each i think, but the quality is outstanding. With a primer they dont wipe away nor fade like this one does, fancy or my cheapo primers. So this product is 3 stars for me, compared to others i own, a solid 1 star. Id be upset if i bought it on a whim for the $22 it is now. probably return it or give to a friend. I also have a cream and jelly eyeshadow the EXACT same color, both under $10. I couldnt justify the price, unless youre buying it for the brand name.

Despite being cracked, it's a really pretty shadow!
I actually really like this eye shadow when I apply it, but it arrived with a big crack in it and when I went to apply it, the whole thing popped out of the jar. I'm still giving it 4 stars because I do believe most eye shadows like this would have similar issues during similar shipping processes. However, I do think the shadow is a bit pricey to be doing this and I wouldn't be happy to pay full price and have it arrive like this. In any event, I simply dropped it back into the jar and used as normal. The shadow is still nice and creamy when applied to my eyelids (I don't think the issues are due to it being too dry) and I love the way it looks. It doesn't crease easily and appears to be long-lasting. I definitely want to try more shades of this!

Easy to use
I got the LORAC Lorac Lux Diamond Cr??me Eye Shadow in the color LACE. The color was fairly true to my screen. The jar arrives sealed. Inside, the eye shadow is more of a puck rather than filling the jar and hugging the edges. Despite the dry appearance, it handled very creamily. The instructions recommend using either fingers or a flat brush to apply the eye shadow. I used my fingers and found it easy to apply with minimal fallout. The eye shadow stayed in place even through a sweaty workout session. This is pricey for a single shadow, but it is a pretty one and the color lasts well, especially for a cream shadow.

The shade 'Lace' is very flattering and versatile
The media could not be loaded. My review is for the shade "Lace" - even though my purchase history is saying I got "Cash" for some reason. First off - mine did arrive broken but I've had this happen before and I was able to fix it with the old rubbing alcohol trick. There are lots of online tutorials if you'd like to learn. I fixed it the day it arrived and haven't had any issues since. Even though I had this problem, I'm still giving it 5 stars because I use it almost every day and I wasn't expecting that. The color: Lace is a very flattering shade that works great on its own for a minimalist, fresh-faced look. It also works well as a base layer for other shadows. It reminds me a lot of Stila Kitten from back in the day, but I think this Lorac shade is a step up from that because although it's shimmery, it's not noticeably so. I think it would look great on a wide range of skin tones. It can be warmed up or cooled down depending on how you layer other shades on top of it. You can get the color to show up much richer by adding layers like I did in my video. Even though it's a single shade, it has a lot of dimension. If you build it up in the outer 1/3 of your lid, it really does look like you are wearing more than one shade of shadow just because of the way it deepens and reflects light. It's pretty amazing in that regard. I really want to order the shade "Suede" because I think they would layer very well together. The formula: I was able to layer both my traditional powder eyeshadows from other palettes over it as well as another brand of potted eyeshadow in a slightly deeper color (see photo.) In both cases it had great staying power and I didn't need to use an eyelid primer. I love applying it with my ring finger (see video) for a quick, effortless look, but I was also able to use a fluffy, flat eyeshadow brush to press it into my eyelid as well. Value: I have other potted eyeshadow products that I've gotten from the drugstore for much cheaper and they don't work as well for me as this Lorac potted creme does. I also have more expensive palettes that I don't use because they take too much work and I don't want to have to decide which colors would look good together. I'm trying to simplify my life. I don't like the idea of paying $22 for one (!) color but I do wear this almost every day since I've gotten it so I'm conflicted. I wish I didn't love it as much as I do because so far there isn't a good alternative. I am keeping an eye out for a sale because I do think it's worth paying a little more for. It's a definite repurchase for me.

Not so creamy
I was really excited to try this eyeshadow. The packaging is gorgeous! But once I opened it, the eyeshadow was not at all creamy. It's dried out and crumbly. Hopefully it's salvageable.
