Convenient and Leak-Proof Water Bottle for Dogs

I recently purchased the Lixit Top Fill NO-Drip Water Bottle (44 FL Oz, White) for my dog and have been quite satisfied with it. The leak-proof design ensures no messes, and it's perfect for traveling, making it a convenient choice for pet owners on the go. The top-fill feature makes it easy to use and refill, which I appreciate. The only drawback is that there's a bit of a learning curve for my dog to figure out how to use it, but once they get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing. Good size

So mine had an issue but had it not it woulda been perfect n great size. I just wish the top cap screwed on or something cuz during a leak i had it tipped and water was everywhere. Also wish the mounting system would have been slighty different my dog instantly want to try bite at the bolt sticking out. All in all tho just a giant hamster bottle and the spout didnt leak/drip there was just an issue with my rubber gasket connecting them.

Larger than I thought

Fine for dog. Maybe too large for small animals. Really had to crank nozzle do stop leaking. Top just slips on so would not be good for traveling.

Perfect size does leak at first.

I bought this cause my dog is kenneled during the day while I’m at work. I like to make sure she has water during the day and this holds so much it last at least 2 or 3 days! It did leak when I first put water in it, but it was one small drip. I have had it for about 2 months and it works great with little to no leaks. It was easy to get my dog to use this and she will sometimes use it even when she’s out of the kennel and has water in her bowl. Works great!!

Working Well for Us

The media could not be loaded. This is easy to install. I like the top-fill feature. I don’t like how hard it is to “lift” the lid but it is much easier to just pull of the entire top. Either way works. It is not leaking and our puppy quickly picked it up. I had placed it in her mouth a few times ahead of time. I read reviews stating that it leaked. Make sure that you have the bottom screwed on correctly or it will leak there. I did make that mistake but knew what the issue was since I had read the directions that came with it. I may happy with this purchase so far.

In order for it.to.not drip water place on outside of crate so the nozzle peeks into the crate.

Great for no mess and germs for breeders

I love this product for my weaning pups! It’s been absolutely amazing! One of two of the feeders is leaking constantly. It’s screwed tight, cleaned, but drips continually through the ball soaking the entire potty pad. Could this be a product defect? Thank you. I’ve recommended it to all my breeder followers! Bought the product back in February so one out of the two has been in good use.

It works but

Yes this is used 24/7. My poodle figured it out. It does leak a bit. Not everyday so I’m not sure if it’s my poodle that let a bit run out. He has jumped repeatedly and loosened it enough to fall off. But that has only happened once. I would not recommend this for a puppy. The number of steel balls inside the drinking tube takes some strength to get the water to come down.

Excellent Piece of Kit

This really is a first class piece of kit. I purchased this because my 18 week old Labrador, when he was in his crate, would consistently up - end his water bowl, even though it was hooked onto the sides. Within minutes of attaching this Dispenser to his cage, he got the hang of it and was drinking without a problem. It is particularly useful when travelling with a cage in the car, as it can be kept full of water all the time and will not leak or spill. My dog is now able to drink whilst on the move, which is useful on a long journey. The photographs I have seen of this bottle on the Internet, do not do it justice as they do not show the bottle in proportion to a dog cage and the photographs I have seen on the Amazon page are also poor. It really is a first class piece of kit and appears well made and robust. Time will tell, but so far I am impressed.

Absolutely brilliant . We had previously purchased a cheaper alternative in Amazon but Bertie , our 6.5 stone bulldog whom loves a crate water bottle ( so do we because he doesn’t slip water all over the place like he does when he drinks from a bowl lol)broke the cheaper one with in two days . This one hasn’t broken and his had it for months and months . I think it’s because this ones spout is all metal . It’s a bit more expensive but well worth it .

Boxer learnt how to use straight away

Absolutely fab, my dog has to be crated as she feels it's fun to rip the carpet off the stairs or completely destroy pillows or anything really when I'm not about. So I have her a lovely water bowl for her Crate which she again destroyed, this now has made sure my beautiful girl has water when I go out, it does not drip, it is very sturdy and she loves it. Quite skeptical that she may not understand how it works but she used it as soon as it was attached, so shes a clever boxer dog

It's great!

This product is brilliant! I purchased this to go in my puppy's crate to replace her old crate bowl as she was forever scouping the water out with her paws, and I wanted to free up more space in the crate. Currently it's working perfectly, she chews on the nozzle whenever she's in the crate and it's undamaged, I like that it can be easily transferred to her car crate too. It's large enough to hold a full big jug of water, and the nozzle is thick and I've had no leaks. It feels very robust and sturdy too. Great product!

Sadly it leaks

A great size water bottle and one that our dog learnt how to use straight away, unfortunately only used it for one day after it dripped and soaked two lots of dog bedding. Tried keeping it full-up as one reviewer had suggested but made no difference. Instructions talked about fixing for use outside the crate (when he's outside he can use a drinking bowl) but we wanted it inside the crate so that he could take a drink when we weren't there. Didn't want to run the risk of him lying on wet bedding so now permanently removed. Great shame as would otherwise have been perfect.
