This pump is in my basement and working well doing its job emptying my clothes washing machine and pumping the water up to the ground floor sewer drain. It arrived with broken parts, I reordered and a few days later the second one arrived with the exact same broken parts. The cast iron pump is only held in place by a 6" long 1-1/2" plastic pipe which snaps off during shipping and the now loose pump then destroys the delicate filter as well. I didn't want to order a 3rd pump so I found the parts (113024 drainage pipe and 113131 intake screen) online and ordered. The supplier I found it turned out didn't have the pipe in stock and after waiting 2 weeks in desperation found a somewhat easy fix: I went to Lowes and bought a pvc adapter (lowes 331503 $2.30) screwed it into the pump, cut the old broken pipe on my table saw to APPROXIMATELY 4-1/2 inches slipped it into the adapter without glue put the lid on without the broken strainer (I put a nylon stocking on the end of the wash mach hose for a filter). it was all plumbed up ready to go by plumbers before we knew it was broken so tighten on clamp, plug it in and it worked perfectly. i gave ease of installation 1 star for obvious reasons. i saw other reviews and this pump seems to arrive broken pretty often. it needs to packed differently inside the pump but then the purchaser would have to remove the packing and assemble the top half onto the base whidh is easy but not everyone would be happy about having to do that.

Solid, American made, nice quality

Used in cabinet under sink. No way to reasonably drain sink by gravity into existing under floor sewer drain. Tried a smaller none American (French) pump with claimed similar hydraulic performance. Would not work as pump did not achieve claimed performance. French pump was chosen for a smaller size. But, if it cannot pump, then it goes back. This Little Giant works perfectly. Lid has a removable strainer to catch solids. I'll update if any problems.

Decent But Not Great (results may vary?)

Does a good job of pushing water up and out of our basement but started struggling in doing so after about a year. Took apart to clean and found the discharge pipe had broken at the base where the threads screw into the pump housing. Replaced discharge pipe ($30) and inspected diaphragm and pressure switch which seem fine but unit will still often times continue running long after it should which I assume it’s not good for the pump itself. I did speak with support twice which were very polite and had good troubleshooting information but did not seem like they’d be willing to replace parts outright. Your unit may work wonderfully for many years to come as for this one it’s got problems. Good luck.

Works great and lasts a long time.

I bought this exact model (WRSC-6) in 2003. When remodeling my house back then I had planned to make a 15' trench through my foundation to install a drain for my new bar sink. The plumber suggested I install this pump under the sink instead. I just routed a 3/4" discharge line through the wall and attic and then over to the nearest drain. It worked great for 17 years. The pump failed to shut off last week and I was surprised that the same model was still available. It took about 30 minutes to replace the old one and it is now working great again.

Great pump for the price!

Great little pump. Will not take any solids so not ideal for a deep sink. Easy to remove filter must be cleaned frequently, we use it for basement laundry (4 people) so I clean the filter weekly. I had the same pump and it lasted 3 years. Then we had issues with it running constantly. Took it a part and did the recommended trouble shooting with no success. Not a big deal for me because I replace my sump pumps every 5 years whether they need it or not. Just a peace of mind thing with me.

Good quality pump system for remote utility sink.

Very reasonable price considering the quality and power produced. Use this pump or a slop sink in my garage and it easily transfers water 11 feet high to Reach the drain. Just need to connect piping and plug it in and it does the rest. I’ve had this installed for several months now and it works flawlessly. Does not limit significant amount of noise when operating as well.
