Works!
One of the best-designed stud pullers around. Quality steel and sturdily made. Best for use on longer studs where the knurled wheel that does the clamping doesn't impact the threaded ends of the stud, but this puller and some Kroil usually makes short work out of pulling just about any stud you can fit it around.

Works as advertised, reasonable price.
The Lisle stud remover works as it should and the price is reasonable. I gave it 4 stars because it’s bulky and cannot get to some studs that are close to each other or obstructions, and it leaves teeth marks in the stud, so you should not reuse the studs in high-stress applications. But a smaller and better stud remover from Snap-On costs 3-4 times as much.

Amazing tool
I busted a couple of seized bolts that go into my engine block. Luckily, I found this tool on a Friday and received on Saturday. It grabbed on to the piece of bolt shaft and removed the broken bolts like they were nothing. 100% would recommend this!

Works great, won't let go.
Works great! My biggest issue is that it has trouble letting go of the studs.

Amazing tool to remove a broken bolt sticking out the side of an engine block
This tool worked great for the bolt sticking out of my engine block 1/2 inch with the head broken off. penetrating oil for a couple days, heat, a couple taps with a hammer and this tool on a socket wrench handle and presto the stud was removed.

Works great for removing a few rusted studs.
Works great for removing a few rusted studs. However, I did have one stud break off while using this and the stud was actually wedged in this remove so tightly that I cannot get it out, even after fitting it in a vice and hitting it with a hammer...

Worked Exactly As Intended
This tool saved me from having to pay someone to extract studs from the block in my truck. Had to cut off 7 of the 12 studs to replace my exhaust manifolds. Couldn't get them out with anything else. This allowed me to get them all out within a couple hours. It worked perfectly!

Good tool if you can use it properly.
Great tool, but keep in mind the surrounding clearances needed to be able to rotate this when clamped to stud. Also an important thing to know is that the length of the stud you are planning to remove must be long enough to engage the tool properly. I would say if you have less than 1/2" of stud to grab, you might be in trouble trying to use this tool.

good product
Though a bit large but it work like a charm getting that stubborn stud out.

Jams with 8 & 10mm studs
It's okay, but if you have to put significant force through it to extract a stud, the stud is liable to be jammed by the cammed wheel, necessitating disassembly by drifting the camming wheel out of the body.

Quality product
Works well. Took me a little bit to learn how to use it correctly

and can chew studs up pretty good if they don't budge
little clunky for use in tight spaces, and can chew studs up pretty good if they don't budge, but its been awesome at taking out ones that i wouldn't expect to remove - i use it all the time and have friends who have picked one up as well as its so handy for stripping down blocks, replacing studs, and even pulling broken off ones out!
