FLUFFY SOFT WONDERFUL

So I can’t speak to the wash durability as I used Lysol and fluff cycle in dryer to avoid any early issues being the cost was awesome and it was obviously brand new… immediately when I CAREFULLY opened the air compressed packaging it FLUFFED right up! Like wow. It did not have any harsh smell just smelled new; a very light scent I can’t say exactly what it was but a brand new smell of something. It looks Beautiful on the bed. It is super soft and comfy. I prefer a warmer comforter but this is all season I believe and so if you are a hot sleeper this should be perfect as it does aerate. I purchased Oversized King and as you see it comes down far! Perfect the way I like it. I will include a picture.I bought the gray to consider color options for the hubby, I plan to find shams and accent pillows to jazz it up. At only $48 for an oversized King it was a WIN!

Great Quality, Affordable Insert!

We just got the oversized king size inert for our bed. The item was well packaged, but it did have a chemically smell when first opened. We let it air out for a few ours and the small went away. This is a similar experience to most bedding/mattress shopping online. The inert has 8 loops on it which was a must for us to prevent it from getting all twisted in the duvet. It’s also a perfect balance of warm but not too warm at night. I’ve bought from Linenspa several times and have never been disappointed, I would highly recommend their inserts.

5 years! It has lasted 5 years! I can’t believe it…

We bought this comforter sometime in 2017-2018. Recently I’ve noticed it getting a pull here or there but nothing major. Just kind of bored of the color. I have enjoyed it so much I went to look at the same one but different colors… that’s when I realized how long we have been using this comforter! 5 years! I wash it normal, dry it low heat. No issues! Yes we have a dog who sleeps at our feet. We also have two crazy kids who jump on the bed and play around. IT HAS LASTED! Light, soft, cozy…. All around perfect!

Plush and Comfortable

I'm absolutely in love with it! It's incredibly fluffy and feels like sleeping under a cozy cloud - well, at least I imagine that's what it would feel like. At first, I was worried that it might be too warm for me, as I tend to run a bit hot when I sleep. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's actually the perfect level of warmth for me. It doesn't make me overheat, but it keeps me comfortably snuggled all night long. I highly recommend this comforter to anyone who wants a plush and comfortable bedding option that provides just the right amount of warmth.

Best comforter I have ever bought!!

I absolutely love this comforter! First let me say that I am very particular and picky about my bedding. So ordering online I really did not know what to expect. Once I got it out of the air sealed package it fluffed up right away. And I put it on my bed and it fits wonderfully. It is oversized. It is so soft and so plush. Also it is a great weight to it. It’s perfect for any time of year. I live in Louisiana it can get cold here in the winter and gets very warm in the summer. The comforter is so plushy and soft. It feels like a fancy hotel comforter!

So far, so great

I've been through a million comforters. I'm picky about the weight on me (I like a little weight) and not too hot, not too cold. I also need the stuffing not to clump together. The only ones I had found that I liked were Nautica, but I don't love their patterns, the price and the fact that the fabric has been ripping easily lately with the dogs nails. This comforter is warm and cozy and will give you a small amount of weight if you like it. It will probably be a little hot on summer nights but that's to be expected. Fabric is soft and suitable to use without a duvet cover. To be determined is if the stuffing will bunch up after washing and if it will stand up to the dogs jumping on the bed. Will update if needed.

Doesn’t stay fluffy

I purchased this about four years ago. I’m currently looking for a new one because I need a new duvet cover and decided I’m going to buy a new insert as well to get the cozy-fluffy look I wanted in the first place. After only a couple months this insert went completely flat. I haven’t been able to get it to fluff up again. It’s held up to my dog and three cats nicely. It has been protected by a duvet cover but there were times we went without for reasons and it still held up. But pet hair does stick to it really bad so I wouldn’t get this if you have fur babies, don’t want a cover for it, and want something you can just give a good shake before vacuuming. It isn’t really all seasons, as it is very warm (not a complaint, just an observation) and even warmer with a duvet cover on it. So if that’s what you’re looking for definitely go for it!

Amazing stuff here

I bought mine 3 years ago and it has stood the test of time, especially for the price. I live in Atlanta GA, so it’s really humid here. It’s perfect for this type of crazy weather where it’s 35 degrees one night and in the 70’s the next day. Not too hot, but keeps me warm when it’s much cooler. I’ve washed it countless times and it’s still in great condition. I recommend 100%

Beware of the « down alternative » descriptiom

Someone mentioned this in a previous review, and I agree: marketing this as a « down alternative » is somewhat misleading. That reviewer described the stuffing inside the duvet as the type of stuffing in teddy bears, and I agree with that. If you are looking for that slightly crinkly down/synthetic alternative that you can kind of « nestle » in, this isn’t it. However, I do think it is a step above those comforters that come in a « Bed in a bag », and while it felt odd to me at first, I got used to it. It is VERY soft. I purchased it because I was looking for a duvet for « hot sleepers », and this kept coming up in various reviews as the best « budget » option. I have to say, this is pretty light, and cooler than any other duvet I’ve ever had. (I was skeptical when I read the fine print and found out it was microfibre not 100% cotton or something more breathable, but it’s not too bad. Just make sure you put a duvet cover with a breathable fabric on top, and it should be ok. Not super cool, but better than most). And it still gives that puffy aesthetic on the bed. To get the maximum « puff » I draped it over the banister for about 8 hours to air it out, and even went and pulled apart the stuffing in all the inside the squares to make it even puffier. I’m making sure to shake it out every day even if I don’t make the bed, so it retains the puffiness. One thing is for sure: you cannot beat this price!! The only reason I’m not giving more stars is because they are calling it a down alternative, and I think they should have been more precise about what it’s filled with. I also think they should have used 100% cotton, or something more breathable than microfibre, but that would have increased the price. All in all a great product for the price!!

No more sleepless nights!

My old down filled duvet had served me well but it was time for a replacement. Given the concerns around the goose/down industry it didn't seem ethically right for me to spend big on a feather duvet. After a fair amount of searching I landed on this Linenspa alternative comforter and was not disappointed. The fact that it is hypoallergenic was also a selling feature. It is lightweight but somehow keeps me just the right temperature when I'm sleeping and it's so comfortable that some mornings, I don't want to get out of bed at all. The price was competitive but not too out of reach and it shipped quickly and was nicely packaged. Upon opening there were no weird smells etc. which was important for me as I have a sensitive nose. I would definitely buy it again/recommend others who are on the market for a new duvet. Time and use will tell how well it holds up but I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Thank you Linenspa!

Love this duvet

We should have it in a duvet cover but I keep it between our top sheet and another blanket. It is so soft, warm, cozy. It improves my sleep quality, it is so comfortable. Nice weight to it. Highly recommended.
