perfect for trunk of your car
Ideal all in one emergency kit for the trunk of my wife's car. Jumper cables are fairly light duty and probably shouldn't be used to jump a truck or large SUV. Add a blanket, some light hazard triangles, food and water and you are set.

Poor insulation
I tried to jump my Jeep and flames occurred in the jumper cables. This is my first using since purchased as a gift in November 2021. Disregard this review- my Jeep is not mid-sized. Sorry. If given as a gift , make sure the vehicle is 4 cylinder or mid size, not V8.

Perfect for the new driver
I wanted my son to be safe in his first car. This was the perfect gift with all of the items he will ever need when out driving. I was given a similar one years ago and I’ve definitely made use of it. This is a great item and will help all you parents feel secure when your child is on the road!

Buyer beware!!
I purchased this in 2018 for the car I got at the end of 2017. Obviously I didn't test it before the end of the return period because I didn't have an emergency. I've never jumped a car before, I was not experienced enough at the time to look at the jumper cables to know whether or not they were damaged or faulty. Fast forward to the end of 2022, this has been sitting sealed in the trunk of my car. Nothing has happened since I got it that would have caused damage. I go to jump someone else's car today and we find out that these brand new, never used cables are damaged to the point where they do not work and are dangerous to anyone who tries to use them. They sparked and smoked when applied to my car battery. I am so disappointed and feel ripped off. Check your cables if you buy one of these, and if you don't know HOW to check your cables, have someone show you. Or better yet, just get jumper cables somewhere else. ???? Everything else in the kit LOOKS fine, but I haven't tried to use it yet, of course. I mainly bought this for the jumper cables.

My Husband Hates Me!
My husband was so amazed that I got this set at the price I did! He looked at everything and asked me why I didn't get two. Now he wants to get him one next size larger than mine with more "bells and whistles" as he puts it because he keeps making excuses to use items out of mine for his car projects.....I can truly say this kit is great on sooo many levels! The only drawback is I wish the carry bag was more sturdy because nothing goes in the same way you took it out so if you don't have a level platform it will roll everywhere in your trunk.
