A reasonably priced, sturdy hose stand. Scratched on arrival, but otherwise no complaints.
I have needed a hose stand for a long while but was too cheap to buy one. I took a chance and ordered this Liberty Garden 119-KD w/Shelf Hose Stand, and I am happy to report that I was not disappointed. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. This review is for a hose holder, not one of the stands that has a connection/fitting/spigot for a leader hose. Most of the negative reviews I read prior to purchase complained about these fittings leaking, but I did not need that feature. Likes: It was so easy to assemble that I don't even remember doing it. It has six legs, rather than the typical four, which, I assume, is the reason it has remained perfectly straight and upright for more than three months of twice-daily use. I don't man-handle it, but I don't baby it either. It went into the ground easily, through several inches of mulch, though I did have to step on the legs with my full weight. Love that this has a shelf where I can store either my sprinkler or my spray nozzle when not in use. It seems sturdy, and I think it will last a long while, though I do intend to store it in the garage in winter. Cons: The only con is that it arrived seriously scratched, all the way down to the base metal. The package was in perfect condition, so I assume it was shipped that way. I kept it anyway and will prime and paint the scratch this winter.

It leaks
I dont know why I thought I’d have any better luck than the other folks who said it leaked but I bought it anyway. Assembly was simple. I put plumbing tape on all connections. Went into the ground well enough, has 5 feet for stability, it really does hold 100ft hose. It would be perfect but for the leaking leader hose connection in the middle. I put tape on it but it still leaked. Did I mention it leaks? A little more effort on the part of the Chinese and it could have been a 5 star product!

Beautiful Stand
The first one I ordered, the spigot leaked in the back. I love the design but was so disappointed (didn't want to have to send it back) so I decided to see if I could fix it! After taking the spigot apart, immediately noticed there was no tape on threads, as shown in diagram. I had some plumber's tape, used it, and after I put spigot back together, it still leaked!! I did a return, and a replacement was shipped immediately! Unfortunately, it leaked worse!! I was so upset, so I contacted the company. I was told to try some plumber's tape and if that didn't work, they would send a replacement spigot. I ended up taking it to my brother's house, he has a motorcycle shop, and he took it apart and used a sealant on it. Thought that would solve it...nope! Took it back, he removed all sealant, showed me how threads, etc. were and applied a different sealant! Thank God, no more leaks!!! I did let Liberty Garden's Company know there was no tape or sealant whatsoever used on either spigots and they need to re-evaluate this flaw in the assembly process. Also, told them that I read other reviews on Amazon and other customers have the same problem!! Overall, I love it!!! It is perfect for my 100 ft. hose, the dragonfly is adorable, and I love the weight and sturdiness of the stand. I have had several hose reels in the past, had to replace them every few years. I have a hose that is similar to a foreman's hose, lightweight and fits perfect on this stand!!

Easy to assemble, sturdy, and pretty!
This stand takes one second to assemble and requires no tools. Once assembled, it is easy to push the stand into the ground until it feels secure and steady. I have two 50-foot hoses attached, so 100 feet long altogether, and all 100 feet wrap around the stand without a problem. In addition, the stand includes a handy built-in shelf for storing the sprayer, if you detach it, or anything else you might want to store there. My exterior faucet is on the front of my house where it is visible, so I appreciate that the design of this stand is so elegant and attractive. This was a great purchase.

Looks good, but no pressure!
I bought 2 of these. They look very nice in the yard…however…no matter which hose (we tried several different kinds), we cannot get enough pressure to run even the smallest sprinkler! The water pressure is perfect for watering plants by hand, but not for watering even the small areas of our yard that the sprinklers miss. If they had good water pressure they would be perfect!

Neat and practical
With this device we are able to store the hose in the garden which happens to be a long distance from the tap on our home. The holder's decorative design and our garden hose color makes it look good as the hose is visible in the garden. We placed it so we only need to unravel a short length of hose to reach our distant flowers. We used to have to grapple with the whole 100 feet of hose required to reach the house tap. Ideal gift for gardeners.
