Luggage accessory

Finding your luggage at the airport is tedious. This has helped me quickly see my luggage at baggage claim. A must have if you have a common colored (black) suitcase.

American Airlines Removed Them

I bought three of these because a bell captain broke the zipper on my suitcase. I was able to fix the zipper and decided to wrap these around my suitcase to hold things together in case the zipper broke again. However. at some point, the baggage handlers removed them. Frustrating because the zipper broke again.

Works Perfectly

Nice Adjustable Luggage Strap

They are well made. The latch is heavy duty. We use these to mark our 25" rolling duffle bags.

good straps great price

I have been looking for these for quite some time! I like the bright colors because it make it easy to identify my luggage at the airport, The last one I had got lost at the airport after 17 years of use , probably a baggage handler took it off intentionally and never put it back on! Otherwise, they are great straps for added security in keeping your luggage together, especially the way those baggage handlers throw our bags around at the airport! It also make them think twice about trying to open your bags to steal things out of! A word of advice though, buckle them together on the side where the luggage handle is, there's less chance of it getting hit and accidentally coming unbuckled! I go a step further and twist a thin wire through the buckle so that if the handler wants to open my bags, he'll have to untwist the wire or cut it off, then I'll know someone opened my bags intentionally!

Worked well

I agree with the other reviewers that the plastic clasp isn't that great. My parents were headed to India and had a few suitcases with some bloat, so we used these to firm up the middle parts. So what we did was we tightened them up fairly well - that level where we tightened the straps as much as they could be tightened and let out between 1 inch and 2 inches of slack. This lead to a firm fit, but not one where the clasp was strained. We needed three, but bought six just in case they failed. Thankfully with that level of slack, they all lasted and no backups were required. I would recommend that you find some with metal buckles, but if you cannot these are a fine and likely cheaper alternative.

Great for reducing bulky backpacks

I purchased this product to help reduce the size of my bulging backpack as a carry-on item. Carry-on luggage is restrictive in size so using a few of these really helps to reduce the size and assist you in making sure your bag will fit in the overhead storage compartments. I had read prior reviews about the lack of quality of the plastic clip/connector, and I will agree that its on the cheap side, but I have another one from Target that is just as cheap which I think is almost the norm unless you pay more. I think for carry-on luggage these would work just find since you will have control over your bag. But, possibly dealing with baggage handling equipment and personnel, these straps may be compromised. But they work just fine in my situation.

Works For Now....

Helped identify my black luggage from all the other black luggages when coming around the carousel. Quality is not the greatest. After a return flight the plastic buckle is not as snug compared to when I first bought it. I wouldn't be surprised if it broke on my next trip. So don't consider this a long term investment.
