Pushing the slider switch is hard for arthritic finger
When the switch is full on or full off the protrusion of the slider is slight. So slight that it is difficult to slide unless my fingernails are long enough to jam in between the slider and the switch's body. A little dip in the plastic at either end would help a lot.

This Dimmer Works in a Powerstrip
With aging eyesight, I need all the light I can get. I bought 2 table lamps which allow 150 watt led bulbs. Much too bright when not reading/doing needlework. Bought a different set of dimmers only to discover AFTER purchase that they only work plugged into a wall outlet--no mention of this in the item description. In the same location as the new lamps, I also need a couple of task light but only have 1 wall outlet. So I need to use a power strip. Read the Leviton info & it stated that it must be used with a polarized receptacle which both my power strip & wall outlet are. Plugged the lamps into the dimmer, the dimmer into the power strip and everything WORKED.

Wide range of adjustment, but stiff, kinky cord.
I gave this stars for it's most important use, dimming a desk top lamp. ..which it does extremely well, from off, through ultra-dim (dimmer than many LEDs will go) to full brightness. So, I am keeping it. ....but, there's a big drawback. The cord is stiffer and kinkier than most corded objects when you throw them away, stiff with age! So stiff, it requires bending each kink more than once to straighten. ...and still so stiff that it's kinky and awkward on the table top, and, with our first, somewhat smaller lamp, made it hard to place the lamp where we wanted it. ...when we plugged it in, the lamp slid on the varnished table surface. Even among cheaper products, this the worst plastic cord we've ever had.

Easy to use, and very effective for a bedside lamp.
This product was total plug-n-play. I plugged it in, and viola!, everything worked as planned. I purchased this because the On/Off switch on my lamp was not working correctly: easy to turn on, very difficult for the mechanical part of the switch to turn it off. Since it's a matched decorative lamp, I really wanted to keep it. Also, since I'm super busy, I didn't want to mess with fixing the mechanical part of the switch. This seemed easiest. Since this is now a dimmer, it's pretty cool. I can adjust the light level very nicely. Also, the slide lever is smooth and simple. The only thing I've noticed is that at highest brightness, there can be a little flicker (most likely caused by the LED bulb itself). The flicker doesn't bother me unless I look right at the bulb itself (which would be kind of dumb to do, anyway).

Great little gadget
I bought this after realizing something like this even existed. I am happy to report that it serves its purpose well. I wanted a decorative "Edison" bulb for my bedroom dresser. I wanted the light to be dim to show off the interesting filament pattern. I ended up trying many bulbs and settled on a GE vintage style LED bulb. This device runs inline with the lamp fixture, meaning you plug this into the outlet and your fixture into the outlet on the device. The cord for the dimmer switch itself is long enough that I can hide the wiring behind the dresser and simply have the control sit on top next to the lamp. It lets me dim my bulb down just enough so it glows warmly and adds that perfect aesthetic. I have noticed no issues using this with an LED bulb (that is designed to work with traditional dimmers).

Just OK - Not What I Was Expecting
I purchased this item because of the national name brand, even though it did cost a few dollars more. The dimmer slider switch on the pod is very tight and is hard to slide. You simply can’t reach over with one hand and slide it on or off. You have to use your other hand to hold the base firmly while trying to force the slider. Also, I have noticed an occasional flicker in my lamp that was never there before installing this dimmer switch. The wall plug sticks out from the wall and the lamp plug instals in the end making it further protrude from the wall. It is unsightly and resembles a nest of wires. I will be looking at a different type of dimmer switch on future purchases.

Didn’t resolve flickering but does the standard
Our old dimmers are flickering with our lights in our new house. We thought it was because of the led bulb. Bought this to fix it, but the lights are still flickering. Dimmers are valuable in our house. So I intend to keep it, but if you’re looking to solve a flickering issue, it didn’t work for us. Maybe it’s the light bulb or an issue with the electrician’s work :/.
