Cats like it, but big mess

I have been using World’s Best cat litter for almost 10 years now. I have 3 cats, and 2 GIANT litter boxes. I really liked World’s Best. It’s lighter weight than clay, it’s flushable, and did a really good job of masking urine odor for up to 2 weeks. It did not do much for masking poop smell, but my dog takes care of that rather quickly ????. I have been having an issue with one of my cats pooping outside the box. Thank God he did not pee outside the box, but frequently pooped outside the box. I thought he was just mad about something. Well I decided I was going to hunt for a cheaper litter in order to save some money with today’s inflation prices. Someone recommended to me the Fresh Step litter with fabreeze. He loves it. So I decided to try Fresh Step Advanced with Fabreeze & Gain. It was not cheaper :(. It had a VERY strong smell which I found very unpleasant. It was also definitely not dust free. In 1 litter box I had the Fresh Step. In the other litter box I had Worlds Best. In 2 weeks, all three cats only used the Fresh Step box. I was utterly surprised. In those 2 weeks, in never smelled urine or poop. There were 2 things I didn’t like about this litter: 1. It tracks SO BAD. WAY worse than World’s Best. 2. I work for a CPA and we are in busy tax season. The 2nd week I worked almost 70 hours and forgot to clean the litter box until the weekend. I can say that it clumps good, and it clumps solid, but if you let it go as long as I did and there’s too much clumping happening, it (like another reviewer said) becomes like concrete. You need a super sturdy scoop as it becomes rock hard. Now, I don’t think I can blame the litter as it was my bad for letting it go that long. When I clean it every 2 days it is totally fine. Come time to order more litter, I read a bunch more reviews trying to find one that didn’t track so bad. I decided to try this product, Fresh Step Clean Paws Advanced Multicat. It had really good reviews. Been using it 2 weeks and these are my thoughts: It looked the exact same as the non-clean paws version. I expected larger pieces. It tracks almost just as bad as the other version. Honestly I don’t think I see an improvement in that department at all. So much for clean paws. I never smell urine or poop, which is great. The overall smell of this litter is more subtle and pleasant than the one with Gain that I tried. The cats still haven’t touched the other litter box with the Worlds Best litter in it (been 4 weeks now!) So, I’m kinda on the fence. Cats obviously like it as they’d rather use the heavily used Fresh Step box than the clean untouched Worlds Best box, but it isn’t cheap and I always have such a huge mess near the box. I should probably switch to the pine pellet method some day, but for now I guess I will keep using this since my cats like it, until I find a better or cheaper alternative.

Great from tracking freak

As stated in the headline, I am a freak about cat litter tracking. It drives me crazy. I have one of those honeycomb mats in front of the cat box and 2 litter mats in front of that to try to get as much litter off of my cat's paws as possible. As I said, I'm a freak about tracking. I have been using Tidy cat 24/7 which is a good litter but there is quite a bit of tracking. I'm a retired senior who recently had shoulder surgery and the Tidy cat is very heavy so I decided to try Tidy cat light weight. That stuff was great as far as ease of use but it got literally EVERYWHERE, on the couch, in my bed, on my coffee table, anywhere my cat went. It was gross. I was sweeping it up all day long. After that experience I decided to try Clean Paws and it is great. The smell is good, it absorbs smell well although it takes a little longer than Tidy cat (my litter box is in my bedroom so I'm particular about that), clumps well enough but there is very little tracking. There is some but this tracking freak is so impressed. The less than great news is its pricey and on a fixed income something else has to go but not being crazy from cat litter tracking has a lot of value for me. It is also very heavy. It has large pieces of litter that don't stick as much to my boy's paws, but again, at least for now, I'm able to deal with it and it is worth it. Will buy this again and recommend it.

Only litter I'll use

I have tried others but keep going back to this. Any product from Fresh Step is good. Good clumping. I have two cats and scoop litter out several times a day and wash and disinfect once every two weeks. Very happy with product.

I finally found a litter that does not track out of the litter box!!!! Cleanup is very easy and the litter lasts longer than most others. The scent is a bit strong but ok

The best thing in the world I can’t afford

I have been looking for a litter that *actually* doesn’t track for YEARRRS. I got this stuff (the regular unscented one is equally as good, maybe the others too but I don’t like scented for my boy) when it was a better price and y’all this stuff is the solution to all of my problems ever. The first morning I went out to check how much of a mess there was by the litter box, I saw god. There was NOTHING. but it has gone up in price since then and as much as it breaks my heart, I just can’t justify paying double the price of the other fancy brands. I think it’s only so expensive because I’m in Canada and it seems to be an American brand. Pleaseeee please please get this stuff to Canada so I don’t have to sell my only child on the black market to afford it!!!!

Sin olores pero insufrible para limpiar

PROS: No me puedo quejar de que no cumpliera lo que prometía: no hacía mucho polvo, incluso ni se notaban las típicas arenillas que dejan los gatos con sus patas al salir del arenero. Repelía completamente los olores. CONTRAS: Dificilisima para limpiar, más que aglutinar se hacía una especie de masa que se adhería horrible al arenero, terminaba casi picando y temiendo que la pala limpiadora se fuer a romper. Por lo mismo duró mucho menos que la arena de cartón/papel que suelo comprar.

Excelente producto!

¡La mejor arena que he usado hasta el momento! Sin polvo, hace grumos muy consistentes y mi gato se siente mucho más cómodo también (hay otras arenas que le dan como alergia). Me gusta mucho que sí encapsula bien la orina por lo que los terrones no se rompen al momento de sacarlos con la pala. Asi mismo, las eses se secan, manteniendo la caja sin olores. Ya pedí un segundo paquete doble!! Porque como plus, llega super rápido! La pedí en viernes y para el sábado en la tarde ya estaba aquí. OJO a mi una caja me alcanza solo para 2 tandas, porque su arenero es grande (por su tamaño) y lo usa muchísimo...

Best Litter, little mess

Hands down best litter I've come across so far. I have a 5 month old polydactyl kitten that would get litter stuck in his paws and thumbs and his fur especially if he had diarrhea the litter and poop would get stuck on his fur and paws and he would leave a poop and litter mix trail everywhere....had to clean my floors and the kitten several times a day due to the mess. If you have a cat that needs fur grooming due to the litter getting stuck in the fur, it's totally worth getting this litter saves you the cost of fur grooming every month. Only thing is if you have more then 1 cat you definitely will use more of the litter but it's less mess.

La mejor arena que he comprado

Siempre compraba Scoop Away, pero no había y llevé esta ¡fue gran sorpresa! Me duró casi un mes más porque aglutina "lo justo" y las piedritas son más grandes, entonces no se les atoran en las patitas (lo cual agradezcpo porque hay menos arena por todos lados). El aroma dura por mucho tiempo. Gran compra.
