The most beautifully designed massager on the market.
I received this package and anxiously opened the box. Inside was another box which had a black cloth bag around it, sort of like I had just received a present, from myself. This was just a nice classy touch. I pulled the box out of the cloth bag and immediately noticed how well made the box was. Not a flimsy cardboard box, but a study material with a clear window to display the product inside. The box was also embossed with a grain type texture. It was of course all black as well. All the materials were a nice black which gives a nice sophisticated look to the packaging with the product inside being displayed beautifully through the clear window. Upon opening the box and removing the massager I was first in awe of the smoothness and sleek feel of it in my hands. The massager had a certain firmness to it which was assuring, yet it did allow for bending at the base. The base has another massager, which is meant to massage the perineum area, and it had a beautiful gold plate on the bottom of the base near the charging port. Again, these details in design make the product look classy and sophisticated, very different from massagers you might see in an adult store. The base has a tiny port to hook up a USB charger to. This was not immediately noticeable to me because it has a rubber cap that goes over the charging port to keep moisture out. The black port cover blended in so well with the black on the massager that I could not find it. The instruction booklet inside did not address this charging port or where it was. You had to find it yourself. I tried to pop off the gold plate on the base, thinking that the charging port must have been hidden under that plate. It does take approximately 2 hours to charge and the charge lasted about two hours, depending on what settings you use. The Hugo has 8 settings and includes their sense-motion setting which is really cool. Sense-motion involves the use of the included remote control. The remote control connects wirelessly to the massager and you control all of the intensity settings through it and you also can change from one mode to another with it. When using the sense-motion mode, your partner uses the remote and controls the intensity of the massager you are using by moving their hands around. It increases or decreases with hand movement. That is pretty cool and erotic as your partner can then control your pleasure with teasing little vibrations or sudden strong bursts of vibrations. The remote control also vibrates itself so a partner can feel exactly how intense the vibrations are that you are receiving. Vibrations at the highest setting can get pretty strong and I found that I preferred the medium intensity. My favorite settings though were one mode that had an accelerating and decelerating vibration intensity. There is also a mode with completely random intensity which was cool because you didn't know what to expect next. Now lets talk about the practicalities of the physical design of this product. The largest part, or main massager is a good size for insertion and gives you a pretty good feeling of fullness. I am 6 foot tall and wish that the length of the main massager was longer. Once inserted the massager stops at the base which has a very narrow neck to it. The massager does not stay inside like I had wanted from a hands-free operation massager. With the lubricant that you use to insert it, it kept wanting to come out. Sitting upright on a chair or the couch helped resolve this but you don't want to always be sitting upright to keep it in if you are trying to make love. Just be aware that if you are lying down you may be reaching down to push it back in. The base has the second massager which was very nice and strong as well. However, it also was not long enough to really cover my perineum area where it is meant to massage. It really only extended up to about half of my perineum area. Aside from the base not being able to do its best work because of this shorter length, it made it very difficult to try to turn the device on or off or to change modes manually using the base control button that is on the massager itself. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 based on the short lengths on the product which made it both difficult to keep in place and to change the settings from the main power button on the base. The shorter length also prevented the massager from hitting my prostate correctly and my perineum correctly. With some adjustments to correct these issues this would be the perfect massager in my opinion. There is also a beautiful satin bag that come with the device to store it in and to keep it discretely covered during travel.

Well designed
I have had this for 6 months now and did not want to write a review until I had used it for a while to assess its quality. I am 5 foot 9 - 165 lbs and the device fit me well. I love, love, love the remote with no wires. Everything about the remote and the massager was excellent quality and definitely the reason for the higher price . It took some trial and experimentation to establish all the vibration modes. Having so many gives the user a lot of choice (low rumble to high buzz). The other patterned vibration modes are fun as is the motion activation modes when holding the remote. I had a little problem insuring the remote was turned off initially but have it figured out now. The remote batteries last for months and the small vibrator in the remote gives the user (if it is someone other than yourself) the feedback to know how they are vibrating you. The actual massager battery duration is relative to how much vibration is being used. Full power battery life is maybe 2 hours, low rumble 4+ hours. As with Aneros prostate devices this one will slip out so sitting in a position to keep it in place works the best for me. I do not have any problems keeping it clean and the surgical type silicone is absolutely perfect, the device looks the same as the day I purchased it. I do not use in the shower but thoroughly wash it after use and this works good. It is supposed to be waterproof when the rubber plug is in the charging outlet but I would be very guarded because it is easy to accidentally dislodge the plug. I have experienced many prostate orgasms when using but you have to find the right vibe mode. For me high vibe is too much, I prefer the low rumble. Remember there is are two vibrators on this device, one riding on your prostate and the other outside on you perineum and scrotum. Hope this helps - this was a birthday gift that I really love.

Doesn't stay in
It just doesn't stay in, when standing up or moving around. Basically had to lie in bed for it not to fall out.

Controller is awful
This is an ok device—quality doesn't quite feel Apple-quality, but sort of mid-range luxury. Unfortunately, the way the controller works is just awful. You need to memorize a bunch of confusing button clicks in order to get it to just turn on and stay on. The default is that the tilt of the controller controls the intensity. Unfortunately this is a lot to manage while you're in the flow. If you accidentally bump it or drop it, suddenly you're not in control anymore. Moreover, you need to memorize another set of button clicks to turn it off. While my hands were shaking, I could not remember and I ended up just leaving it on until I was back to earth and could figure it out again. Something I expect from my devices is that I can easily turn them on and off without thinking. This device doesn't pass that test. Moreover, people often mention it doesn't stay in with their anatomy. I experienced this as well, and with a partner. If someone from LELO is reading this: I appreciate your products and vision, but I wasn't a fan of this device. I'd love to work out an exchange for another product.

Does not live up to the hype and not worth the price.
Maybe my butt is broken but this is so hyped up in every "best anal sex toys" list I've read that I shouldn't be surprised that I was disappointed. The way people talk about this thing, you'd think you'd be guaranteed a hands-free explosive anal orgasm every time but for me it's barely (if at all) pleasurable let alone life-changing. First off, it's small and hard so it's easy to get in but before you even begin with the vibrations, it doesn't give you that full feeling and I am quite tight and can't play with anything really big. When it's lubed up, you are relaxed and it starts buzzing, it will easily slide out or you might accidently push it out if you simply cough. This happened a lot to me. When I say it's hard, it feels like a sort of satin finish plastic that I don't find enjoyable to touch and because it has almost no give if you squeeze it, it feels slightly uncomfortable to me when inserted. As for actually massaging my prostate, I wouldn't say massage as much as annoy. The buzzing sensation is interesting and slightly pleasurable for a few minutes but then it feels irritating to me on all speeds and variations. It feels clinical rather than sensual. The best settings in my opinion are the ones that sort of build up and down in intensity and not the interactive remote settings which is this toy's biggest selling point. The remote is good in theory but kind of a pain to use. I had to read the instructions every time to remember what the button combinations were to turn it on and off and you need to keep looking at it to make sure you are going up or down in strength because you can't tell by touch. It all feels like too much hard work and takes me out of the moment. You can't cycle back and forth, only one way, so you have to cycle through all the settings to get back to the one you liked if you wanted to try something else. If you are using any of the variable strength settings, you have to be constantly tilting or shaking the damn thing. It might be fun in theory if you give it to your partner, but it feels like more of a gimmick to me. It looks expensive-ish with it's nice box and fake gold finish remote. It comes with a decent bag and not very detailed instructions as well as a device to remove the remote cover to change the batteries. It's easy to clean and keep clean. As for charging, the USB cable is white while the toy is black; a small detail but I don't like that. It looks cheap. It take about an hour to charge and lasts about that long with constant use at full speeds before it putters out. If you don't use it in a few days, you will likely have to top up the charge to get that hour. I'm not a fan of toys I have to plan to use and an hour is not a long time although I hear cheaper vibrators are worse for this. But if you're using this toy, you're not looking to quickly get off. The first time I used it, I spent a long time getting used to it and it died on me. After that I was a little stressed every time after that it would happen again. Honestly, I would send this back if I could. It's way more hassle to use than it's worth even if you do enjoy it and simply put, I don't really. Feels like money down the drain.

Feels Amazing. Playing with he motion controller is lots of fun!
Pros: 1.Huge variety of vibration. 2.Hits the spot perfectly. 3.Max vibes are powerful. 4.Motion control (just rotate the controller in hand to change vibes position and intensity) Cons: 1.Price. 2.Battery life is only about an hour and takes 3 hours to fully charge (but I guess this is reasonable given the intensity of the motors)

Too Big
either i have a tiny butt or other people have huge butts …. Either way this is way too big for me. The operation isn’t great either … getting the hand set to link to the unit itself is sometimes a bit of a performance and the various vibration setting are hardly exciting … but then I had to judge it simply from holding it.
