Works great, once you figure out the wiring.
The instructions only give wiring for 3-way installation; single-pole installation I had to google and even then it was trial-and-error to figure out how to hook up the hot/load configuration for a single pole install. Other than that; it works great and matches the rest of the decor.

Fantastic product and way safer than other options
The adjustment for brightness is flexible and quick and very good brightness coverage from dim to brighter but not super bright. Here's the most important part.... this one has a white wire connection which is a legal requirement that many others on Amazon don't have. Check before you pick another product. It's also 3way compatible or just 1way also

Adjustable night light but not sensitive enough to light and won't turn off
I like the fact you can adjust the night light level and that the night light uses a neutral line to operate instead of depending on a different types of light bulb types to function, which limits what will and won't work. Somewhat more work to also install using a neutral line but the night light will function no matter what is in or not in the circuit. The one drawback after I installed the light switches is the sensitivity of the light sensor to turn off the night light when there's light in the room or hallway. One switch was fine but the other switch I installed won't turn off unless a very strong light is shining right at the switch, the night light just won't turn off when expected.

Nice quality switch, questionable shipping
Great quality switch with an easily swapped black toggle cover for those who want a fast, fresh new look. Box arrived in a rather beaten up condition, and upon further inspection I found a couple small but likely non-critical cracks in the non-visible parts of the assembly. Time will tell if this becomes an issue or not, but I'm fairly certain that it won't be.

Good switch. Need better instructions.
The switch is good and the led night light is nice... I like that it has 4 different brightness settings and an off position for the night light. The led light is pretty even. The light switch throw(how much the switch rocks) is shorter than I would have expected, but it seems well made. You can apparently switch out the cover to a different color switch(other colors sold separately). As mentioned by others, the instructions are pretty bare and don’t give very much explanation except a 3way setup. After reading what others did and spending at least 2 hours trying to figure it out, here’s what I ended up doing... I believe SP is suppose to stand for “single pole” (although this designation doesn’t make a whole lot of sense unless you want your switch to turn on in the down position) and “3W” is intended to stand for three way. The switch diagram is confusing for a number of reasons, one being that it looks upside down with the ground in the top, but the switch is clearly made to be the other way around since the writing on the switch is positioned so that the 3W and SP connections are on the bottom of the switch when installed. I wanted the led on the top and the switch on the bottom (because the brand name “legrand” is written the correct way up if that orientation is chosen). You do need a separate neutral for this switch to function correctly. I used this setup (do not use this as electrical advice, I’m merely telling you what i did) Black(“hot”) to COM, neutral to white( I connected my nuetrals at the switch), and (in a single pole(NOT 3way) installation, depending on which position you choose to be “on”, SP or 3W. I ended up using 3W since I wanted up to be on and the brand name on the switch to be in the correct orientation. Overall good switch - need better and more detailed instructions.

Nice switch but instructions confusing
As others have said the instructions are not very helpful. For 3-way installation replacing an existing 3-way switch, I connected red wire/different color screw (traveler) to 3W, hot/black screw to COM, the remaining black wire to SP, and of course ground to ground. Then I added a jumper from the neutral pigtail in the box to WHITE. Works perfectly. The nightlight is a white LED and the switch looks nice with a screw less wall plate.

Good product, horrible instructions for single pole switch
I wanted to have a light switch with integrated night light for our nursery room. It does its job when connected. There are 4 settings on the LED light. It seems to have a day light sensor that turns on to the latest settings when it's dark. Good product, however there's no wiring diagram for a single pole switch, only 3 way. I had to figure it out myself! For connection, my light wiring is a single pole with a hot (black) and neutral wire (white). As instructed on Legrand's useless diagram, you need to connect the neutral to the WHITE and the hot to the COM. With this configuration, only the LED light will work. In order for the switch to work, you'll need to add a jumper wire from the WHITE to the 3W. This can be done via direct junction from WHITE to 3W using an insulated wire w/ both ends stripped and screwed in or use wires with wire connector to split the neutral wire in order to connect to the WHITE and 3W. Note that with these wirings, the LED light is on the top side whereas the switch is on the bottom side. It makes more sense since the Legrand logo is readable and not upside down.

Good solution
This is a neat solution with the switch integrated into the a standard switch size format. It does what it says and works well. There are 4 brightness levels that you can toggle through to off which is a handy feature. Personally I would prefer the brightest setting to be brighter as I am using it for an ambient light in a furnace room. Its ok, just not that illuminating. Enough reviews have mentioned the instructions that are pretty useless in a single pole case. Its pretty desperate to get instructions from others' reviews on Amazon (but they work so thanks to those people who added that).

Legrand stuff is much cheaper than Leviton!
I didn't really like the side rocker switch of the other switch night lights... Legrand was the only one that made one with a up down rocker switch... this isn't the cheapest at $20 each... when you can get a 2 pack of another brand for a better price. As other said, the instructions are TRASH lol... If you want to use it as a single pole switch... connect your HOT wire to COM (black). Neutral to neutral (white). SP and 3WAY is your load connector. Depending on which one you connect, it affect the switch position. With the night light at the top, and SP connected, the "ON" position will be the switch down position. If you wanted it to be up position, you should connect it to the 3WAY labeled post. The switch is designed upside down with the letters written a right way up... weird?
