Buzzers that are so eager to do their job, they operate independently
I purchased these buzzers to use as part of a party game. They worked like a charm, and the different sounds were helpful to know who buzzed in first. They were the right level of sound/loudness without being annoying. Plus, when two or more people ring in at the same time, it's pretty hilarious all on its own. Two watch-outs: 1. You have to insert two AAA batteries into each buzzer (which I knew up front). The cover where the batteries go is insanely hard to remove. It's screwed onto the underside of the buzzer (presumably b/c this is meant to be used with little kids & you can't have a small part come loose & get swallowed). You need the world's tiniest Phillips head screw driver to remove the cover. And even then, you will want to smash the buzzer against the wall as you attempt to unscrew the cover. Eventually, it comes off but it's a huge pain. 2. This part is hilarious. Once I was finished with the party game, I put the buzzers back into the original box. Box is sitting in my laundry room, completely undisturbed, on top of the washing machine (not being used, so the machine is still). The buzzers go off randomly. Perhaps 2-3 times/day, I hear a "neigh" or a "moo" come out of the laundry room, as if the buzzers are beckoning me. I'd try to remove the batteries, but please refer to point #1 above. Otherwise, a perfectly serviceable set of buzzers and a good value for the price.

Very fun
I am a professor and ordered these to stop "Who raised their hand first?" disputes during in-class exam review games (yes, college kids fight about that). My students loved the dumb noises, and the buzzers held up to their slaps. The batteries are kind of hard to access, but hopefully I won't have to change them often, anyway.

Sturdy for kids slamming on buttons
Its good to have 4 distinctive sounds so there is no mix up on who buzzed in first

Dont buy if using for game buzzers
The cow was too quiet compared to the other three and I could not hear it all the time for that players buzzer

Great for dog training and very durable!
Really nice, sturdy little buzzers; I got these to work on teaching my dog to press a button on command, and they've worked out really well for that. I figured the barnyard sounds they make would be rewarding on their own and keep my dog motivated to want to keep pressing them, and BOY has that proven to be true. In fact, my bigger struggle now is to teach her to only press them when she's asked... and to not run away with them in her mouth. :D I know these are mostly designed to be used with kids, and I think I can say fairly confidently that when they've survived being slammed by paws and claws, slobbered on, and carried away like a chew toy, kids will probably be no sweat. Battery life has been very good so far, too. I didn't really need more than one, but the fact that four come in this box for more or less the same price as some other buzzers (like the "easy button") is a huge perk... if any of them DO break, I'll have back-ups, and I've also been switching them out so the sound keeps changing and my dog stays interested. (The chicken and cow are the best ones, in my opinion; the dog and horse sound a little bit like random screeching.) I might give one to my dog trainer and see how she likes to have it on hand for her classes. The different colors are great, too; maybe one day I can teach my dog to select a specific animal by color.

Dog buzzer didnt work
I liked that each buzzer you can clearly hear the distinct animal sounds to tell whose buzzing in. Sad that 1 out of 4 buzzers didnt work. Still going to keep the buzzers tho.

I'm Still Amazed
Having once believed that gadgets and gimmicks like this was very immature for the adult learning experience, there was also a time that I thought the Cadillac Allante, BetaMax and the RCA video recorder would also be huge marketing successes. When I placed these on the four training tables I thought my class of baby-boomers and X-Yers were millenials in disguise. They squealed and snorted in delight, as I heard the sound of a barking dog, a horse neighing, a cow mooing, and rooster crowing even though the sun had been up for hours. There were no frowns, pursed lips, or sour pusses--just squeals of delight. I used it as part of a game of friendly competition between groups, with the first group ringing in would get the points for the correct response. It was amazing to watch how they all had their hands on the buzzers, ready with their barnyard sound. Some even complained when I redistributed them the following day and they didn't get the same "animal" as the day prior. I never counted on people becoming so attached! I was almost expecting them to give them names--Thunder, Daisy, Red, or Sparky. They are loud enough, but not very loud. Keep a supply of AAA batteries available to avoid classroom rebellion and charges of favoritism. I'm still amazed.

Great Addition to Activites Even for Adults
The buzzers added a nice element to the activity in a professional development exercise. The only issue I have is that the buzzers are so much fun that participants couldn't keep their hands off of them. Since there is not on/off button, there is no way to silence them when they are packaged and not in use. I frequently press the buzzer inadvertantly which leads to the batteries running down quickly. When this happens the animals sound weird. You have to use a good quality battery, instead of off brand batteries from discount stores (dollar stores) to keep the animals from sounding like they're about to die.

A+
Shame they don’t have on off switches as you can just put them in a toy box or they’ll keep going off, but good quality and loud noise
