Perfect for my diploma

I like the look of this frame and how it displays my college diploma. And it was at a great price.

Perfect for the job

I wanted a wall frame for my newly acquired masters degree. My BA is hung in a simple black frame, and I wanted to keep the new one simple and not in-your-face but still more elegant than the other frame. This was perfect. Not for those who want a lot of embellishment or a real stand out piece. The frame is well-crafted and the glass is real and thick enough. Does not have an easel for standing up, but I didn't need one (shame because the back is actually pretty nice). My 11x14 diploma fit nicely, although I placed the matte behind it to add thickness so the glass didn't shake. Nicely packaged though it could have perhaps used another layer of bubble wrap, mine was undamaged. Price is more than reasonable in my opinion and I would recommend.

Nice quality frame

Nice quality frame. I have bought two of these over the years and they hold up well. My only complaint is that the opening inside the matting is much too large for the diplomas. I should've measured, but neither of them fit. It fits a typical piece of printer paper. I should've measured ahead of time, but did not. My college and graduate school diplomas both are much smaller than the opening so I just had to tape it to a piece of paper instead. This would work very well for an award that you print out on your computer.

Good Quality, Great Price

I ordered this frame to display my PhD diploma, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially considering the low price. The frame arrived in bubble wrap and was undamaged. It was easy to remove the backing because there are several movable fasteners (not those fasteners that bend up and down and eventually break with use). The frame looks great, and I will be ordering more for my other diplomas. My university charges about $150 for similar frames, so this frame was a great bargain!

Hard To Frame...... Quality's There Though

I bought this for my newly acquired college degree. The degree cost so much that I was kinda expecting a 24K gold frame to come with it but it never came. Anyway its a solid frame but it can be REALLY tough to get your degree seated properly in there. There's no actually thing that holds the degree in the middle so you have to position it perfectly in the middle of the glass and then put on the back without moving the degree a tiny bit.....Its harder than it sounds. Other than that its a quality frame though. Note - The white background is bright white. This is important because the more off-white (darker) your degree or paper is the more contrast there will be and the better it will look.

For a Special Event

We purchased this for a certificate presented to an employee who retired. For someone who has worked at a company for almost 30 years, he appreciates the 'old school' touch of class. The double matting tastefully enhanced the certificate. The recipient said he would proudly hang the frame in his home.

Poor Quality/Defective -- DO NOT BUY

Very poor quality. I put my diploma in the frame and when I went to hang it ... the corners became unglued and the frame fell apart. I attempted to get a refund on the product without mailing it back (as I don't have access to a printer for return labels) and I offered to send photos of the defective item ... however Amazon was unable to process a refund without my returning it so they offered to send a free replacement product. I'm hoping the next frame is not defective or else I will be seeking a monetary refund. Rest assured this was not a shipping issue, it's a product quality issue. I had other frames in the delivery box from other manufactures and all items were packed/wrapped very well ... no other items were damaged or defective. This frame is just junk basically. Don't waste your money. (I'll amend with a photograph when I am back home) UPDATE -- I got the new item and it's still terrible quality. The frame for this one isn't broken but the backing doesn't fit flush into the frame. It's just a terrible item and I wish they would give a refund without having to deal with a return but I'm not packaging up these frames to mail them back. Photos of poor craftsmanship should be sufficient. If I could give this ZERO stars I would.

Excellent value for money

I have to say I was surprised by how high quality this looked. I have an old Phi Beta Kappa diploma that was in a Frame x 25 years that cracked while we were moving house. I looked for something cheap to replace it after going to my local Frame shop and being told that a custom frame would set me back $150! This was a perfect replacement. Looks solid and heft and the only issue is that the diploma/certificate has aged so it's color is quite faded /off white now, and the mat Frame for this new document frame is a beautiful bright white. But no problem, I'm just using the old mat and saving this white one for later use. Frame looks great and I would buy this again if I needed another.

Diploma Frames for a Good price

When I graduated, I bought the frame from my university for $240. Fast forward 5 years and it crashed and shattered, destroying my degree inside. I was furious. I wasn’t about to spend another $240, and I had a second degree to put in, so I ordered two of these. They are nice, and priced extremely reasonably. If you want something fancy, this isn’t it. However, this is also not $240.

Great Value

It arrived very fast, looks great and was easy to use. My only complaint is there is little swivel clips at the back to hold the back in place, several of them were loose and would just fall down. Not difficult to solve though, just tightened them with a screw driver and it was fine after that.

Best frames, looks great!!

I wanted to buy a frame for my university degree and didn't want to pay $240 for the ones selling at Ryerson. Most degrees would fit but mines didn't because Ryerson makes their diplomas extra wide. Though it doesn't fit perfect, I'm still very happy with the look of this frame. This costed 1/10 of the cost, I ain't paying for a frame that's 946% more expensive! This is the best value, trust me, just do it. You won't regret it. Even if you do, free returns on amazon. Great quality and looks amazing.
