the best for my application

i needed a replacement for the quarter-turn-to-lock-open style that looked very similar to this. the rubber on mine was not allowing a very large opening for draining. the simple push to open pull to close function on this drain stop is very good.

High Quality, Easy Installation - One tip

Higher quality than the contractor grade that came with our home. Solid brass stem screwed in easily to existing fixture. It would have been nice if installation instructions had been included for newbies, but there are so many youtube installation videos out there it's not really necessary. One tip to consider: the old stopper was a little tough to get out; therefore, when I installed this one, I used a dab of waterproof grease on the threads of the stem and also the cap for when I need to replace this one eventually. 5 stars!

Will probably last

I’m always replacing these tub stoppers. The rubber goes in about 6 months. This stopper has only a bit of rubber on it so i think it will last a long time. Easy to install, easy to use.

Great replacement for a popup tub drain!

Replaced a "Popper" or pop up unit with this. the pop up ones tend to fail after a couple years and the shaft is quite large blocking the outflow of water causing the tub to drain very slowly. this one has a very small shaft and thus lets the tub drain much faster. I use to unscrew the popper because it was taking too long to drain. It may sound silly, but I really love this thing. It seems to be built really well. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but feels very solid so far. It comes with from what I can tell are the two most common sizes for the stem that screws into the drain.

Hard to install

Pop-up Tub Stopper

Great replacement for a previous pop up stopper that had a worn out spring. Looks heavy duty with metal parts as opposed to other cheaper plastic versions.
