FINALLY!!! Oh my gosh, I've had the toughest time finding some nice-fitting, durable basic V-necks! But finally, FINALLY at long last... LAmade and Amazon came to the rescue! Trust me, take my advice and if you're on the same campaign I was on, let your search end here. I've tried going to department stores, online boutiques, designer stores, discount stores. I've tried cotton poly blends, cotton modal blends (they're too "clingy" for my liking), burnout cotton (but that got holes right away). If it wasn't the fabric, it was the cut. I'm a chesty 34F so finding a V-neck that doesn't look downright skanky is a difficult mission. Finding a v-neck in general that doesn't stretch out or go halfway down your back, that's another dilemma altogether. I can testify that these roll-sleeve V-necks from LAmade are PERFECT. The V is feminine but modest, the fabric is thin but not see-through (could barely see my bright purple bra under the white one, impressive), the length hits right above the hips (on me, 5'7", size 12-14 women's), and not clingy at all. I ordered XL with fingers crossed that they wouldn't be too big, but I'm glad I ordered that size because the fit is immaculate. It fits me just like it does the girls in the stock photos, with the perfect amount of drape. The fabric is a sturdy and reliable 90% cotton 10% poly blend so I'm optimistic they will withstand washes, stains and scrubbing over time, and no holes after one freakin wash!! Have I sold you on them yet or should I keep gushing lol?! I got one in white and one in heather gray, and am looking forward to enjoying these as year-round wardrobe staples. Just wish they would make a vintage-wash style, too! Wink, wink! :-)
