Sharp, hard, tough. These are high quality OEM *Hardened* blades

I bought these for my Cub Cadet, MTD made chipper. The set of blades before these came from China, from an Ali-E*** type of site, for only $30 for a set of two. Both of those blades broke after about 4 hours of use. I feel lucky they didn't destroy anything on my chipper. These blades are high quality, hardened steel. They are sharp and tend to stay sharper than cheaper blades and are not as brittle. For me, totally worth the very premium price. Yes, there is only one per package so expect to double the price. But you get what you pay for. These pull the wood into the chipper and really speed up operation. Don't waste time and money on bargain blades. These are the ticket.

Not what I expected based on the other review

I received one blade and no mounting hardware. Now I have to return this blade at my cost and find somewhere else to buy a pait.

Great replacements

My replacement chipper knives arrived quickly, came with all new mounting hardware and were a breeze to install. Well, maybe not a breeze: getting inside the machine to replace them is a chore, but the knives fit perfectly and have been working just fine. I'm ready for fall!
