Replaced this every year.

I went thru two of these and they both lasted one year. Plus the batteries are the button cell type and are more expensive.

Poorly constructed. I have used four of these units with similar results. Firstly, this goes through batteries very quickly. Second, if you plan to use this outdoors, expect to go through batteries even more quickly. Third, the unit will stop working in winter if the temperature gets too cold. And finally, the unit's lifespan only seems to be somewhere between 12 and 24 months.

Limited Compatibility

The info on this item should include that it is apparently only compatible with a LaCrosse WS-9620U-IT. Instead it implies compatibility with any LaCrosse 915MHz station. Well, guess which station I don't have, and now guess which sensor I am returning . . .

No luck

Put this thing on my back patio (protected from the elements) and it failed after 2 weeks. Dead battery. Eats battery's at the rate of 1 every three days.
