Great support for a smaller, yet advanced infant

We loved the Hugaboo! First it’s packaging is superb, it’s airtight in a plastic bag which I think all children’s pillows should come in. It’s protected from bugs and dust! My grand baby just turned 3 months, she is petite only weighs 12lbs BUT she loves to sit upright not laying back, and they’re are not a lot of options because she must be able to hold her head up and sit up on her own with most sitting booster’s. She can hold her head up but sitting up is something she is still working on, so this Hugaboo is perfect because it’s small and helps support her little body! Best thing I liked about it as she grows she will be able to make natural movements when needed as opposed to being confined or limited to certain movements. Other infant seats are plastic and hard limiting the movements of the child’s legs and hips. This one is great for a small infant, especially if they have great mobility! I think we loved it because it’s small and gives her the support she needs! Now I’ll have to get a second one for my home!

This is the most amazing invention!!! My little one loves it. It keeps him entertained for a while. It is soft, cushioned, durable and safe. He does not tip to left or right. I love this product!

Unassisted sitters only!

The product is good quality, soft and comfortable (or looks like that to me as an adult). I got it when my son was around 2 months, hoping it would help him learn to sit, but so far he is not a fan. He is now 3 months and still really grumpy about being put in it. He can hold his head up fine when being held or carried, but still doesn’t sit up unassisted well. The back lets him recline a little too much, which might be ok, but the sides are spaced so widely that he ends up slumping to one side. We’ve tried sticking pillows or blankets around him to kind of fill the hole and add support, but with his squirming it doesn’t stay in place well. I think when he can sit up on his own, this will be a great couch seat. The wide space will come probably come in handy when trying to put him in. That is an upside of the design, the flexibility of the cloth and stuffing “lap band” and the velcro strap that holds it in place makes it easier than some other seats to get baby in and out of.

Nice but not sturdy enough

It’s nice quality and will be great for when my little one can sit up 100% on their own but until then it’s not great for them to use

Happy Baby!

My partner and I are currently sharing a small room with our daughter, so for hours of the day she's trapped on the bed with me doing my best. This has been a GODSEND to that end, because having her able to sit and play and do sign language lessons on the bed safely has been the greatest joy. She adores this thing. We picked the bubblegum because it perfectly matches the beautiful baby blanket her untie made for her. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Before we got this we were working on sitting by having her sit up in her nap pod, and one day I came back from grabbing her bottle out of the warmer, away for only 45 seconds, to find her on her side with her head hanging over the side of the bed. I was terrified and bought this while I was giving her the bottle, without hesitation. It has paid off in spades since then.

Great for sit-up playtime!

Our 8 month old loves this seat! He can sit on his own but is still a little wobbly sometimes. This way he can sit and play with toys with some added support, and without me constantly worrying about him getting hurt. I add a small pillow to either side because if your little one is strong he/she can tip over in it. That’s the only downside. But it helps him learn how to balance better when sitting up, and he can access all of his toys on the floor without a big tray in front of him. Easy to clean, easy to get in and out of, easy to transport! Works best on the floor or on a firm bed, not so great on couches or softer surfaces.

Great but be mindful of that Velcro

It's good to sit my baby up for a short period of time, but be very careful of the Velcro in the front.. it will scrap your baby's or your skin. It's very sharp Velcro... I have never seen anything like it. I got a good scrap on my knee from having contact with it.

Poor product and expensive.

My son hated it. It took a lot to get him into it as the design requires you to clip the buttons once the child is seated. Once in it there was minimal support and I found him pulling forward and to the sides. It also came dirty and with animal hairs on it. Returned the product the same day we received it.

Esta bien pero no es para 3 meses

dice que es para 3 meses sin embargo, el respaldo no es lo suficiente alto como para sostener al bebe que a los 3 meses no lo puede hacer por su cuenta ... mas bien es como de 5 meses en adelante

Buy this!

Absolutely love this chair for babies! So much better than those hard plastic ones... baby even fell asleep in it a few times. Cover comes off easy enough to wash, and the fabric rings on the front are great for clipping on toys.
