These little things work

I have bought two of these they were quite well. However they are not good for really big chainsaws. But for a small or midsize chainsaw they work really well. Very versatile.

Had to modify

2006 Polaris sportsman holes don’t line up for older lock and ride so we had to modify the bracket by drilling holes in bracket, not the Atv. Had to use one plunger and one regular nut and bolt so kind of a hybrid lock and ride if you will. It’s not very sturdy it flexes a lot. However, despite those pitfalls, it works and it’s not too expensive. I’m more or less excited purely to be able to more securely transport a chainsaw on a 4 wheeler, because it is very difficult and annoying at times and this make is easier.

Best low price option

Works well to hold a chainsaw. Doesn’t work with the blade cover, though. The cover is too thick to fit. You also need to be careful about snagging things while riding because it does stick out a bit. But it’s solid and easy enough to install.

Works for most applications.

Wish there was more mounting holes/ better options. I have this mounted on a 2020 Polaris XP 1000. Ended up having to use the lock and load plugs. Only issue is that with the weight of the saw, it likes to bounce around. Mounting holes do not line up enough to keep the majority of the chainsaw head weight closer to the quad. I ended up using a short ratchet strap wrapped around it and back to the other handle on the quad. Still works and has been very useful in the woods.

Needs some kids

Used the hardware given and the u bolts weren’t big enough for my wheeler, ended up drilling and bolting it to rear frame to mount it, once done it seems to hold up for regular riding. If you ride rough be careful.

Good, solid product

This was an excellent purchase. I was able to use a spacer block to adapt the mount to the back of my off-road vehicle, and it has been a game changer having my chainsaw accessible outside my vehicle. Deadfall on the trail is a simple matter now, not having to root through the back of the rig and haul out five other things to get to my chainsaw. Having it outside the vehicle is also good in case it starts dribbling chain oil. The bracket is very solid and well made. I would buy this again, no question.

Great saw holder for the money.

Installed this holder on my 2021 Polaris Pro XP and it was super easy to install the u-bolts that were supplied are too small for the 2” roll bar so I stopped at Canadian tire and bought bigger ones. It sits good very adjustable and I have had a small saw on it as well as a bigger one and it doesn’t move and never have to worry about losing your saw. Great product.

Great for hauling your saw

I got this chainsaw bracket because I often take my saw when out to clear trails for atv/snowmobile use. This thing is heavy-duty and has many mounting options - vertical, horizontal, 45 degrees, etc. What I love about it is that you can get your saw in and out of it quickly - a must when cleaning up trails after a wind storm and you are using your saw every 50 feet. Worth every penny - the usual Kolpin quality and smart design.

This is the second one I have bought, this one for a different machine. Solid. I had modified them both times for my setup. Highly recommend. Would buy again.
