It’s poop color lol
I thought it would be a little lighter like burlap like in the photo but I guess it was just the light reflecting but other than the color it’s nice hopefully it stays strong for our swing chairs.

Very sturdy
Sturdy and thick rope. Was pleasantly surprised

Very strong rope!
Use for just about anything that requires strength. I only used it as a trellis for climbing bushes in the front of my home. Looks good too, blends in with the brick wall!

Great Deal
Beautiful 1/2” x 50’ polypropylene rope. Much nicer and cheaper than the same type of rope I bought at Home Depot for $.72 per foot!

Don't tie yourself up in knots! Buy this rope!
I'll be honest, I didn't purchase this rope for any official rope purposes. I purchased it so that I could cut it into smaller pieces and stuff them in the ends of pool noodles in an attempt to create quidditch brooms for my daughter's Harry Potter themed birthday party. And for this purpose, it worked swimmingly. The rope was pretty difficult to cut with my regular scissors, so I imagine it's quite sturdy as far as ropes go, but I can't say we really put it to the test. For reference, one length of rope plus 5 pool noodles cut in half was enough supply for 10 quidditch brooms. My only hope is that one day my daughter recognizes the stupid amount of effort I put into things like this (I'm not even a Harry Potter fan) and respects me for my efforts rather than resents me for the amount of time I spend coming up with and executing these kind of lame ideas.

Not good for tying
It good for tying a knot to hold a swing. Knot doesn’t tighten and slips out.

Does the job.
I use and reuse this rope for securing my plants over the winter. It grips well and surprisingly it's easy to untie knots in this rope.

Very surprised!
WOW...this hank of rope was way, WAY, better than I thought it would be for the pittance I paid for it. I was expecting some rough, hoary rope...but in fact it is very smooth and freaking awesomely strong. It's about the size of my middle finger, and it's made of some densely fused fishing line-like material; some kind of poly blend. I lived in Oklahoma as a youngster, and the "lariat" (or rope used for cattle) was a legendary thing. The ropes were stretched and treated under heat and stress until they were rigid. A special hitch was made, and the lasso made from the process was stiff enough to make a loop that stayed rigid in the air. These ropes were expensive, and treated like a prize saddle, or pair of boots. So, I know my ropes. Well, this rope reminds me a lot of the raw material used for the lariats if the lasso was made from poly instead of fiber. I believe a good stretching in the sun (maybe pulled tight between two trees) this rope will also keep and maintain a straight, line; making smooth loops instead of kinky curly...The reason I believe this, is because I would straighten fishing line by rolling it out in the sun after a bad backlash. It would straighten the kinks out of it. I believe the same method would apply with this rope. The recent snow fall here in Kentucky made me order this rope. I am very glad I did. It's strong and smooth enough for any purpose you could possibly want for a fifty foot hank. I'll more than likely get another hank or two.
