Quality and convenience without the price!
As a Klein tool user I always expect the most out of Klein products, for the price this delivered. At 10ft with led lighting it is about as good as it gets, many higher end units with display are well over $100 more and honestly not worth it as they are typically 3 to 6 ft in length and require non-rechargeable batteries. So aside from needing a usb-c or micro android phone that can support the camera, you can’t lose. The led lights are very bright and will light up a wall cavity or dark black iron drain with ease. Worth the price without a question. Advice up front is make sure that the Klein et16 app is available and downloadable for your phone in advance as some devices are not yet compatible with the app. There are borescope apps that do work but won’t allow you to record or take photos but you’ll honestly want the Klein app that does both.. Would have rated 5 stars but did not as the only thing the scope lacks is a formal hd quality image. Nonetheless it is still amazing for price and quality and the bag it comes with keeps the convenience factor high.

Not bad
I like the ability to take pictures with it but the cord needs a redesign. Total PITA to operate without dropping your phone. Needs to have a longer USB cable. Very very VERY awkward to operate. It fuctions well just wonky AF to operate.

Needs some improvement
I have used Klien tools for years, so never thought twice about purchasing this camera, especially for the price AND that it was Android compatible. We were using it to inspect a faulty install on a plumbing drain where we believed the former contractor did not install a trap under a shower. I was a little concerned after opening the package and seeing that it notes that it is "not to be used for underwater inspections"; even though it says it is waterproof. After a little research, we decided that the camera itself is waterproof, but not the device where it attaches to your phone. Pros / Cons: The probe is strong, making it fairly simple to push along; However this makes it difficult to push around the 90 fitting in the drain line. It would hang on the pipe edge where it meets the fitting. The outer coating seems rugged, but it did fray some when entering the pipe. The picture quality was decent, but a focus feature would be nice. It is a little hard to see when the camera is up close to something... kinda makes the pic blur. The LED light is a Great feature and even better that you can control the brightness, However it does cause a back flash of light to the camera when up against a shiny surface. This could also possibly be controlled by a focus feature. The app was easy to install and has decent features, fairly simple to operate. The video feature has a limit on video length and is a little slow to close the video before letting you start the next video. I'm running the latest Android software, so the app itself probably needs to be updated for the newer software. It even comes with a great carry case making it easy to transport with your hands full and easy to store. I DO recommend this product!! Make sure it is capable of doing what you want, but all in all it seems to be a great device for the price. I can't wait to use it while fishing our next wire down a wall.

Disapointment.
The one disapointment I've ever had with a Klein product. The boroscope itself is really good overall. There are two flaws. A) the cable from the usb to the device should have been longer. B) total fail on the app. I have multiple Android devices that fall within the advertised recommendations. The only one it will work with is an anciend Samsung tablet with batteries that last about 2min and just barely passes spec.

It's OK when it works. Sketchy USB connection.
When it works, it is good. Problem is, if you move your phone slightly the USB plug fails and you need to start over. A huge pain on the job site. It seems to me Klein slapped their name on a cheap Chinese piece of crap - sort of like their screwdrivers for the last several years. I wouldn't buy it again.

Lastima por ser un producto de marca de renombre, a pesar que tiene buena calidad de video, la grabación no se puede, sale todo verde, y es muy incómodo tener el celular en mano y el control del aparato. Dejo mucho que desear
