Just what I needed.
I'm getting ready to do a lot of wiring at a house we're building, along with building a PV solar system to power it, and this fish tape is helping immensely. I've been using Klein tools for 40 years as a lineman, then as a union Ironworker, and they are made for hard work. This tape is stout, well made and for this price, a good deal, to boot. Besides all the wire runs I have to do, I plan on utilizing this tool to help me get a weight and string that was accidently dropped down our 180' well pipe. I've been putting off installing the pump until I get the 3" piece of pipe and the 20' of kite string (don't ask) out of the well. I plan on using this tool to help get that out, too. It paid for itself on the first use of pulling 35' of PV wire and ground through a 32' section of 3/4" non-metallic liquid-tite conduit from the combiner box to the charge controller. Made an otherwise impossible job a piece of cake. Very happy with it. Of course, I'm always happy with Klein tools.

the best option for pulling the cable in a metal hose
Since I have been professionally engaged in installation for more than 35 years, I want to emphasize that this is the best option for pulling a cable in a metal hose (especially if you work on a deal where the speed is directly proportional to the salary) Of course, fiberglass or fiberglass is lighter and more electrically safe, but over time it twists , the upper braid peels off and. etc., becomes unusable. This one is made of stainless steel, it can overcome small congestions if you pass the hermetic seal (and this is at least 6 meters, when the ant will not crawl through.) Withstands heavy loads, increases your performance several times without effort, since this tool is thought out to little things, and most importantly it will be enough with a careful attitude for more than a dozen years !!!

Best tape ever
LOVE this tape. Work in pool construction and this sucker has seen some abuse. My other Klein rusted ( in AZ ) in a week. If you are always around water, this is the tape for you! Just pulled a 220’ with 3 90s and a 50’ long 45 curve and it was like butter. Highly recommend

Excellent 5 star
Bought 240 feet fish tape to run camera wires and others, great product and have feet written on the tape as you fish the wires.

Great product.
It works great. Couldn’t do my job without it. Sometimes it gets really tight though. But it’s never let me down. I use it for pulling coaxial through conduit.

It came tangled inside
I had to spend an hour to untangle it before i could use it. After that it was great

Converted from ideal to Klein for fishtapes! Lighter, stronger and with footage markings!
This is a very nice fishtape. The lazer etched footage markings are great for underground pulls no more numbered cloth pullstring needed to Gauge underground distance. This tape is considerably lighter than my ideal tape which is the same length which is impressive since its stainless steel

Pull cables easily
I will start out with the obvious for many - this is really a commercial grade product and is not designed for the amateur hobbiest. This is reflected in the price initially and in the build once you have it. Klein Tools are one of my favourite brands for cabling equipment, so is one of my go to brands these days. This fish tape is made to their usual high standards (forgiving the fact it is American - reasons below). It is a large orange plastic tool with a black handle on top. Inside is a coil of carbon steel tape, finished in a double loop, making it perfect for connecting to cables before winding back in. The case is designed to allow this to rotate easily and wind the tape back without kinks or damage. The top of the tape has laser etching on it to show how much tape is out and left to reel in. This is the part that belies its American heritage as it is in imperial only rather than metric and imperial that I would prefer. The reason for my drop of 1 star is that the tape, when fully wound in, wants to unwind a foot or so. There is no way to lock the tape in and small movements (for instance when driving with it in the back of the van) help the tape start to unwind out. It is a small thing but could mean the tape gets damaged at the end. Finally, Klein Tools make fish tape in various lengths. This one is large at 240ft (73m). This means it is heavy. If you never need to pull cable that kind of distance, one of the smaller tapes would be a better buy and also save money in the process.

Great for pulling wires through difficult areas ????????????????
The Fish Tape Wire puller from Klein tools is well made and very easy to use. It has a range of up to 73 meters or 240ft which ever you prefer. Having used tools from Klein before I have always been satisfied with there quality and performance. This is designed to pull wires through those awkward places like ducts and conduits or even in tight spaces like cavity walls or attics. I’m planning on rewiring my home network as I want to upgrade all my cables to CAT8 which will mean some awkward places like my attic will come into effect and this product is definitely the solution to my problem. ????????

Robust, quality tool
KLEIN TOOLS Fish Tape, Steel Wire Puller with Double Loop Tip This is certainly a handy tool to have, it's primarily used for pulling cable through conduit, but it has many other uses too. I used one of these to to pull some cable through a large under floor space in a listed building where it worked very well indeed. Klein tools is an American company where I understand it is a well known brand, this product is also manufactured in the USA. My first impression of this was how big and heavy it was, as it holds 240 feet of metal fish tape it's not surprising that it's quite heavy. The outer casing and handle are made from a very tough high impact nylon material which should stand up to a rough working environment. The fish tape is made from high strength carbon steel, the end is hooked making it easy to attach a cable to it for pulling. What I find is a good feature is that on top of the fish tape is a measurement marking that shows how much of the steel is still remaining when pushed into a conduit. This measurement is laser etched on top of the tape every one foot in length. This particular tool has a working length of 240 feet which is a considerable length, you may never need this amount of tape but I always feel it's best to have more in reserve than none at all. At first glance this may look a little plasticky, but on closer observation it's clear that this is a sturdy tool that's designed more for professionals use. It certainly has a use at home if you are perhaps rewiring a house or putting some extra cable in. If you have a need for this then it should do the job well, the tape is certainly powerful and stiff - Recommended! CONTENTS: 1 x Fish Tape 240-Foot Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

It's not cheap but has saved so much time trying to poke cables through. I like it very much!
KLEIN TOOLS Fish Tape, Steel Wire Puller with Double Loop Tip, Optimized Housing and Handle, 1/8-Inch x 240-Foot 56334, Orange/Black The product. This is a cable puller from Klein tools. This version is the 240Ft one. Design and quality. It is strong and well-made and will last a long time even with daily use. The lengths are marked in feet and inches being an American made tool. Once pulled out on a long run the cable wants to retract and it could do with a lock stop like many tapes have or someway of stopping it etc. The line is very strong and coated to make it slide well through conduits etc. In use. We have been pulling lighting cables through an underground feed to some stables and then through the maze of rafters. This tool has made the job much faster and prevented me having to did up the yard to put a new run in. It has saved many hours of work. It has always worked perfectly. Overall. A very useful tool for running cables. It is well made very strong and I would not be without it now. A great tool for running cables underground and through lofts.

Industry Standard Product.
This product is used for pulling wire and cabling through cable piping or between wall partitions. This particular model is best used for major building projects as the tape will reach over 240 foot. The wire pinch that pulls through the cabling is a 1/8 inch which is plenty big enough to pull through a range of high grade wire types. I ordered this item to pull through several ethernet cables from a ground floor network switch to a number of 2nd floor workstations. Because I was setting up a secure network, I also used cabling casing on the outside of the building to keep the ethernet cabling hidden and I couldn't have installed the wiring without this device. You simply feed the tape through the casing, the tape stays rigid so nothing will prevent the tape reaching its target. Once fed to the bottom of the casing I was then able to hook the ethernet cabling onto the pinch and then you simply use the handle to wind up the tape and with it, I pulled through the ethernet cabling. I honestly doubt if I could have pulled off this job without this device. I only used around 50 feet of the tape, which doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of how far this device will stretch. Recommended.
