Durable and effective fish wire
So cabling newbie here.. I needed to pull some cables to hardwire between the roof where the 5G CPE is down to the ground floor of a 3 storey property to where my switch is. I was debating on whether I should get a a fibreglass wire one or there was another type that looked like it was some kind of twine rope because it seemed easier to handle. I settled on this steel wire one because I read that fibreglass breaks and the twine thing just didn't look like it was going to go very far down any pipe without scrunching up. I read in some reviews of difficulties with rolling back the steel wire ones in other brands so decided to go for the Klein tools one. The first cable pull was a 22AWG think wire and it took quite a bit 9f grunt to get it through the long run in my house. But the Klein one I have to say held up - it moved pretty well around some very tight bends and the fish hook thing really worked to hold in the cable as I I pulled it. Feeling back, the mechanism handles very well, straightening the links out of the fish wire as it goes back in. It's built well and although it's heavy, the design lends well to being able to handle it. Amazon is always keen to recommend additional products that go with the item you're buying when you add thinga to your cart but it failed to remind me of some important items you should definately get if you're going to be pulling wire: - Safety glasses - the steel wire flexes about when your feeding or pulling it in, you don't want it hitting your face and damaging your eyes - Sometimes you have to pull pretty hard and wiggle the wire around and a suitable paid of gloves really helps with keeing your hands from getting becoming sore! - Some cable pulling lube to loosen things up I haven't used other fish wires so can't really compare it to anything. All I can say is that it did the job well and it seems to be built well.

Pull electrical cable in conduits.

Good tool, but wrong use-case
I purchased this tool to help me with a pool light replacement. My pool, like most have lights with an electrical cord running through conduit to a power box. To replace, once must attach a line to the power side and pull from the pool side to take out the old light. Process is reversed to install the new light. The issue I had with this cable was, I was unable to pull the cable through the conduit to remove the original light. Ultimately, 2 things make the job easy: 1. pour dish soap and water into the conduit to make slippery. 2. Use draw string to attach to the wire and pull through conduit. Worked well. Good tool and easy to use, but not the right tool for my situation.

This is the trick
If your running wire or cable threw conduit this is a must. I put some camera cables in conduit and buried them about 3 or 4 foot under ground over to my garage and the cables went bad. If it wasn't for this thing I would have been shoveling dirt again. This thing is amazing and made running the new cables in conduit a lot easier then I could have ever imagined. Worth every penny!

36 metre long wire fish tape, could do with a lock
This is my first wire fish tap, i usually get a tradesperson in to pull wires but this might save me some cash. I am told by my electrician son that Klein are a good brand, i have had a few items of theirs and have been happy with it. It is about 12 inches in diameter plus the handle. It feeds out a thin flat steel rod with a hook on the end for easy fixing of cable ( i use electrical tape to be sure). The tape feeds out very smoothly by holding the handle and spinning the orange bit and ie pretty easy to wind back in. Overall length is 365 metres or 120 ft. the tape has laser etched markings on it starting at 120ft and getting lower each time as the tape feeds out. As long as you are ok at deducting numbers from 120 this will tell you how much has been fed out, personally i think beginning at 1ft would have made more sense but hey ho i'm no expert on these things. The only thing i don't like is that the tape doesn't lock in place, i've found that it will feed tape out on its own unless carefully stored, a simple lock system would make it easier to store.

This is a really useful fish tape
This is an easy to use and sturdy steel wire fish tape. It is over 36M long, which is enough for any job at home. I used this to pull network cables around the house and it takes a lot less time to do it with the fish tape. I really like that you don't need to actually hold the steel wire to use it. Once the wire is inside the wall you can just hold the handle and spin the orange ring. You can push the wire in the wall with just pushing the orange ring. This gives you better grip compared to holding the steel wire and longer distance quicker. Recommend it. Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Works great!
This is great if you're doing some wiring in the house as it is a more than adequate amount of wire to do the job. The wire itself has markings etched into it so you can read the length too. The shape of these tools makes it easy to hold and operate and it has a hard case to protect it from any drops making it perfect for working anywhere you like. This works great for either pulling or pushing through the wire and it doesn't snag or bend easily as it's made of steel. Overall, if you're doing some work at home and you need to do some sort of wiring, I'd highly recommend buying this tools beforehand because trust me, this will make your day a lot easier!

Works perfectly, such a useful tool for wiring. It has saved me so much time
It never occurred to me that such a tool existed before until I watch my electrician wire some cables for me...since then I've been convinced I could do it myself if I had such a tool. Needless to say I was delighted to see this come up for review. I had no idea what these were called otherwise I'd probably have searched online and ordered one before. This has made moving/rewiring my TV such a doddle and I haven't had to destroy the walls to do it. I cannot believe how simple and effective this tool is. The wire on this is longer than I'll ever need
