Good price
Basically wanted itfor the head band

Great Headlamp, Simple, Realistic, Grips Hardhat Well.
I installed this on my hardhat, and the rubber/plastic strap is grippy enough that it holds on without addition of clips or other help. I put it around the circumference right where the lugs for the internal headgear/support clips in. Occasionally I might need to shove the light head itself back downward as it is the only place the unit slips at all. This is also probably due to bumping around and me jiggling it when pushing the on/off button - so I say the grip is not to blame. Only two settings, high and low - which is great. I would be OK with one setting personally. I have had the ones that have 15 settings: Low-Medium-High-Red-Blue-Green and flashing versions of all those. Then you have to push the button 15 times to go from on to off. Very stupid and annoying. Simple=better. Battery life has been very good. Not rechargeable - which suits me perfect. Last thing I need is another cord and the housekeeping of making sure I haven't neglected charging it. Alkaline batteries available everywhere anything is sold ever. Both of these are what is actually important to anyone who has every actually used these for work.

Sticks to hard hat like glue
The media could not be loaded. I love my new hard hat light. This thing seems like it's gonna be a life saver as a Boilermaker. We work in dark places without much light so this will definitely come in handy. I love the fact that it fits securely on my hard hat without it moving around like other hat lights. The only thing I dislike about this product is the button on top of the light is hard to press, especially if you have gloves on. Klein makes great tools so I think this is going to last me a long time unless I lose it in the field! I would give 5 stars if the button was a little easier to press with gloves on

Hard Hat Bestie!
This lamp has been fantastic for staying in place on a hard hat without any modifications. It is very bright and have been the go to headlamp on the job. The only downside for me personally is that I have a hard time pushing in the soft panel to turn it on. I have arthritis and it is difficult to apply a lot of pressure on anything with my hands and fingers. Again, this is only my situation. Others have no issues whatsoever.

It delivers as promised.
The Silicone strap does hold the lamp on the hard hat and does not slip or become detached. I have now used the head lamp for two nights in a row on construction sites along I-5 and the batteries held up. The on-off button is easy to find and use, the tipping forward mechanism for looking down works and holds where set. I did not test durability or comfort E.G. I didn't drop my hard hat and the light was attached to the hard hat, not my head.

Works but not all the time
First off it came with almost dead batteries so I put new in worked great for 1 day now it doesn’t turn on all the time I just want a new one

Always been satisfied with Klein Tools and this is no different.
I was very excited to receive this product, as I have some house projects ahead of me where a small, bright flashlight was needed to fit into the space I'll be working. This is perfect! It's incredibly bright, with 2 brightness settings and a tilt feature. The band is wide and comfortable and fit around my head right out of the package, so I didn't have to adjust it. It said it was set to go over a hard hat, so I guess that means I have a large head. :) One thing - be careful when pulling it off if you have long hair - the band acts similar to how a rubber band would in the hair.

Awful headlamp
Only reason this gets 2 stars is the rubber strap. Love that on a hardhat. The light itself is so absolutely dull that it's useless. I basically paid all this money for a rubber strap and I'm pretty disappointed. Had I not already used it I would absolutely return it. Garbage and shame on Klein.

Very bright
Head lamp is pretty bright but the only problem I have with it is that you can only turn on flood and spot by themselves and not together at once. The rubber strap is great for holding on your hard hat and withstands extreme cold temperatures. Battery life is pretty good if you only using it from time to time.

Love it!
Love the way this grips to the hardhat, no more fussing with straps that tear and stretch. I’ve probably owned a dozen or more headlamps and this is my favourite thus far.

Under the impression that all klein product are built in U.S.A
So far this item meet my expectation except it was not made in U.S.A. Any way this item is bright enough to be used at the crawl space or basement. I only hope it will last. It more than a year already and this item shows some problem misaligned push button and LED are not bright as it is used to be given that I hardly used it.
