incomplete package
Nice little pump, works fine, has arrows on top for 'in' & 'out' and two cables for + and - power. Worked as expected. I did not get the hardware that's shown on the Amazon page - no mounting screws, no power taps and no hose Tees. I worked around that but it would have been handy to get it with the package..

Reversible!
I didn't get this for squirting a windshield, but rather for a project where I needed to move water back and forth between two containers. I suspected it might work in reverse because of the arrangement of the hose barbs, and I can confirm that it does. There are arrows indicating flow direction, but if you reverse the power leads it will pump the other way. It has a flexible vane impeller, so it is self priming, though it's probably best not to run it bone dry for very long. As others have noted, the bullet in the description which states that a reservoir is included is INCORRECT.

I used this as a replacement pump for my '80 MGB (not keeping it original) - works great, though the mounting options are a bit limiting - you may have to use tie wraps or something. Could include some other diamater hose adapters, but it doesn't, so you might need to make a trip to AutoZone to adapt to your existing plumbing.

Pros: - Worked great out of the box Cons: - less than stellar quality construction; I could see bare wire where the wires attached to the pump - cheap accessories; for example, the splices were worthless Conclusion: for the price I paid I was expecting a high-quality item; what I got was functional but nothing special.
