new pond pump

This pump works good...so far. Just set it up today. I was upset to find out that the attachments for the waterfall were not included with it.

Fountain was listed as used, missing a part so I had to purchase it still was much cheaper the buying it from a home supply store

One big drawback

The pump itself is terrific. Amazon's price and fast shipping was much appreciated. There is a lot of power and good control for the water pressure. The water bell is lovely. But the fountain heads are held on by pressure, not threaded, and the force of the water being pumped eventually blew both the water bell and spray heads off and they are buried somewhere in the bottom of my pond. With the cold weather coming soon, I don't expect to find them before next spring. It's a serious design flaw, but you can probably secure the head if you know about it in advance.

Works fine as intended

This kit comes with a pump that has very long cord which I like very much. Don't buy anything that comes with only 6' cord. It is never long enough. I used it in a container water garden and it took only 5 mins to set up, open package, attach the nozzle, submerge it into water (This is important, operating submersion pump without water kills it immediately) and plug in the power, and done... Simple as it is. Continuous operation for a month now (off in the night) and still going well. This thing comes with 2 years warranty and if you have problem, just contact the manufacturer.

keeps plugging up

When it works it is mediocre. Unfortunately it plugs really easily. I have had mine for over a week and can't keep it running for longer than four hours. The company I bought it from was quick to respond and suggested I make a filter by putting it in a container filled with stones and drill a 1 inch hole for the spout to come out of. I did this and it still plugged. Unfortunately I am using this in a larger pond that is surrounded by pine trees. Pine needles fall into the pond and this seems to be what it plugging it up. There are two fountain heads. One is like a sprinkler with a lot of little holes. The water doesn't come out evenly when it works. The other head is more even and comes out in the shape of a vase. I am going to try and put a sponge in by the motor in hopes that the water will flow through but not the pine needles. Unfortunately I am just tired of getting in and out of my pond to keep fixing this.

Simple to use, great fountain.

Terrific pump. Easy set up, great effect. Couldn't run our waterfall that fed our small pond this year and this was the perfect solution. Motor is quiet, cord a generous length, and the water height adjustable. Plenty tough to stand up to the rigors of raccoons and bears taking a dip, and giving it a few bats.

Great small but powerful pond and fountain pump.

I am amazed at how well this small, inexpensive but powerful pump functions, particularly compared to the much larger and much more expensive model that it replaced (and which lasted 2 years). I've only had it installed for 45 days but if it lasts 2 years or more, it will be the bargain of the year.

Perfect for water fountain project

I initially bought this for my pond but found it a bit small so made a water feature and used it for that. Perfect size. So lovely to hear the relaxing sound of water. I put some blue dye which I also purchased off here in the water. Looks lovely and sounds lovely. I used it without the heads which came with it in the end as I wanted the water to just bubble up to the top of the pot. Brilliant that you can adjust the height. Perfect. Would recommend but go for a larger one if you have a larger pond

Very feeble pump

I bought this because my old pump died. It’s a tiny pump with a very feeble output. Buy it if you need a pump for a water feature. Not suitable for a pond. Had to buy another pump with a better output

Perfect pump for our small pond

Really well made pump. Works well for our small pond and powerful. Comes with different fountain heads. This is one of the only ones we came across which had an earth wire!!! I would definitely recommend this product. I’m very happy. You just need to attach a plug to it.

Just the job.

Great cable length and easy to set up. I am using it as a pond pump pushing water about eight feet up an elevation of about two feet for a garden waterfall and it works perfectly.
