its large and all of the parts are cut well for assembly and easy to put together but
i really wanted to give this plane more stars. its large and all of the parts are cut well for assembly and easy to put together but..there needs to be orientation lines in the center of the main wing and tail wing so you know what is exactly center also the rubber bands seem very poor as we broke the first of the two it came with on the third wind up while never fully winding them as per instructions under the wing. i think they may be old rubber bands with dry rot. also to note i think the rubber bands this came with are old and we are experiencing dry rot failure and paying 7 dollars for a rubber band powered air plane with bad rubber bands is why it got 3 stars and not 5. it flys really really well for quite a long distance compared to guillows smaller greeen lettering rubber band powered ait plane kit we replaced with this one. i do not know if it will fly the entire 250-300 feet the box says due to the rubber bands mine came with but i do know we got atleast 150 feet in a strait line and also got it to fly in a 30ft circle landing on its wheels perfectly.

An Old Classic Fun Toy
Pretty much has not changed in about 50 years+ I got one for a grandson. One thing to know, is It looked liked it was shipped from a third-party seller, It was shipped in a loose bag, not a box (which it should have been). The box got bent up some, parts were okay though.

Bought this plane for my 2 7 yrs old nephews. Went together easily although you have to be careful installing parts as they're a very tight fit and could break if not careful. Bought a battery powered winder for $10 from england. Gave it 125 winds of the band and threw it in the air. First time it crashed. Second attempt it flew great--kept climbing and flew very smoothly---unfortunately it flew right into a tree . Oh well is was nice for the one good flight. Hopefully the wind brings it back to earth someday.

Lasted Much Longer Than Expected. Made in America!
I got this for my 6-year old and expected him to break it on the first outing. Even though he zings it into the pavement on most flights, it survives. I can't believe this balsa wood toy has lasted as long as it has (still going). I had to buy extra rubber bands for it. And no surprise, something that lasts longer than expected is made in America!

Classic plane
Got this as a gift for a 7 year old. It was a big hit! We put it together in 3 minutes and had a blast flying it. Very elegant balsa wood flyer, lots of fun to fly.

Great Flier
This plane is very easy to put together but you have to remember that this is balsa wood so you do have to be careful or it could crack or break. Plane flies great and it's important that you fly it into the wind, hard crashes are subject to breakage BUT very easily repaired with super glue or wood glue.

Flying fun
I bought this to keep the kids occupied during an outdoor party. It was great fun, even the adults enjoyed it. Of course it did end up suffering damage before the evening was over. But they are sturdier and larger than other versions. My rating is swayed by the enjoyment of flying it.

Exactly what I expected
Okay, I don't expect 300 ft flights, and this did not deliver that, more like 150 ft at best, but I am sure I could wind it up more, and then risk breaking the rubber band or plane. I have played with Balsa airplanes before, and I pretty much know what you get. This one is the best one I have ever had. So, I give it 4 stars, would have been 5, but it doesn't fly as far as advertised, so 1 star subtraction for false advertising, but it was at least as good as I expected, so I am happy.
