Simply easy to use
This is exactly what I was looking for. A simple easy to use chime. I only gave ot 4 stars because of the battery requirements. 3 C batteries required to run the chime.

Functional wireless doorbell
I would generally trust GE when it comes to home appliances and this doorbell is fine. I really should have read more reviews before buying, though. As other reviewers have noted, there are a variety of tones that can be set for this doorbell. Only one of them is tolerable. The rest are just awful. Tinny, 1990s style MIDI sounds that aren't worth advertising or having on this device at all. Come on GE, it's the 2020s, get with the program. Functionally, I am please with the doorbell. We have two doors that delivery drivers will come to and having a wireless doorbell at each is handy. The range seems good and we have not had any issues in regards to the doorbell actually playing a sound when the push buttons are pressed. Still, I'd be inclined to look for something with better chime options if I were in the market again.

Ding Dong
I have been trying to get a doorbell that works and is loud enough. Simple—ding dong. Easy to assemble and pair. And very reasonably priced. I had bought another one for $54 and it malfunctioned after two weeks and it wasn’t very loud. So this doorbell seems more promising. I made it ding dong a few times just to hear it. If this one malfunctions I’m going to get one that is hooked up to the circuit breaker and installed professionally. But this one seems pretty good.

Worked perfectly for my needs.
I wanted an entirely wireless doorbell system with a ringer button for both the front and back door. Each button came paired from the factory, and it was extremely easy to select a distinct tone for each (there are eight choices). I like that the receiver/ringer is easily wall mounted with two screws. It is not forced into the location of a wall outlet and taking-up an outlet. I was able to put mine in a stairwell that is audible both upstairs and downstairs. The receiver unit uses C batteries (qnty 3). I prefer the larger battery requirement, because I do not want to be changing them frequently. Here is a little trick when installing the push buttons... I used the screws to mount them outside my house, but I also used the included padded-tape. The padded tape offsets the button very slightly from the wall, and makes it easy to pop-on the front panel after the base plate has been attached by screws. If you haven't tried installing, then that may be confusing. You'll see what I mean when you go to install the buttons - I recommend putting the pad on the back before you screw them (too flush) to the wall. I am pleased with this purchase and product and I recommend it.

Good range
I bought this doorbell for my 89-year-old mother's house. I haven't take it to her yet, but I think she will like it. I tested it at my house, putting the chime at the farthest corner of my house and pushing the button at the farthest corner from it. I could hear it quite well. Then I stepped outside to my front porch and pushed the button. I could hear it ring. Then I put the chime in the middle of my house and went downstairs to my partially underground basement, pushing the button at various locations. I could hear the bell each time. I wish the push buttons used AAA batteries instead of button cell because they'd be easier for my mother to change, but hopefully they'll last a long time.

Good wireless option for houses under 2000 square feet.
The media could not be loaded. WATCH MY VIDEO: Where I demonstrate the chime in a 3 BEDROOM - 1900 sq ft split level house. I recently installed this doorbell kit on a 1900 sq ft 3 bedroom split level home (the layout where you access the 3 bedrooms by walking up 5-6 steps just inside the kitchen, and the basement stairs door is right next to the bedroom stairwell in the kitchen.) I installed the chime at the top of the bedroom stairwell off of the kitchen. This location is in the center of the house and out of the way. You can actually press the chime on the doorbell repeatedly at once and the chime will continue to play through the ring cycle for as many times as you initially push the button. I was able to test the chime by pressing it multiple times and then quickly walking through every room in the house to ensure that the chime was audible. When I performed this test, I could clearly hear the chime in every room on the main and upper level. When it came to the basement, I could definitely still hear the chime, but not nearly as loudly as in other areas of the house. The house was completely empty of all furniture when I did my demo. So I would expect that it may be a bit more difficult to hear once you add television and other noises into the equation. Additionally, you have to keep the layout of the home in mind. My doorbell chime was centrally located in a home where the chime was never more than about 25 feet at most from furthest location inside the home. Install the chime in the middle of the house. With that said, if you have a house that is larger than 2000 square feet, this unit may not be loud enough for you to hear in every room. BUT, for the price, and the ease of install, this one is a no-brainer for anyone with a house that's under 2000 sq ft with a relatively open floor plan. Make sure that you drill small pilot holes if you are mounting the doorbell to the wood on the exterior of the home. I say this because the mounting screws that come with the doorbell are tiny, and you will rip your hair out trying to set and drive the tiny screws into really hard wood.

Lousy chimes
Terrible choice of chime "melodies" and the chimes are WAY too long! This is a doorbell, NOT a phone ringtone or some such. Second, I should've read more closely or asked about the type of batteries the chime requires. I had to go out and spend another $10 to get a 4-pack of C-batteries, which I don't use for anything else, anywhere. Caveat emptor.

Easy install, functions well
Easy install, rings loud, 2 ringer buttons supplied, one for each door. Requires C size batteries (not supplied) for the inside ringer, batteries for the outdoor ringer buttons are included.

Easy to install and program.
We have a loft apartment with two entrances one exterior and one to our garage. This was a perfect choice as each access could have a unique ring.

Works perfectly
Door bell was easy to install with no wiring and works Perfectly. Due to the nice chimes, (instead of a ding dong type wired door bell) my dogs do not bark any longer when the door bell is rung. Perfect!!
