Great faucet, thin finish.
For the money this was a great value because if you shop all the major faucet players $1000 seems to be the standard in "getting what you pay for" when it comes to quality. What a racket this industry has become. In order to get a quality product, with a brand name you know, you have to drop some serious cash. I am happy with this faucet, it was heavy, seems well made, looks great and was pretty easy to install myself. I noticed some reviewers made mention the sprayer was cheap because of the plastic trigger. The rest of it is metal and its heavy so it feels solidly constructed. Hell the cheapo one I grew up with was all plastic and it never died or broke. The only other thing to note is that the finish is thin. The joints at the bends for the left and right sides need to be tightened before the final placement or they will leak. I wrapped a cloth around it before I gave it a turn with an adjustable wrench and it still marred the finish and revealed a silver mark. A black sharpie fixed that and I can't even see it now. Just be aware. Get some thin rubber or something to protect it when you tighten any fittings on the oil rubbed finish. I would definitely buy again.

Beautiful, high quality, but install components defective
This is a beautiful faucet and seems to be very well made - all metal and very hefty. While not inexpensive, it is about half the price of a similar style from the better known brands such as Moen or Grohe. The finish is quite nice - a very dark oil rubbed bronze with none of the copper striations or fake antiquing seen on some other brands. It is a "low-flow" faucet, whether by design or not, so keep that in mind. However, there was a casting defect on the "mixer" where the 5 lines for the hot and cold all meet, causing a leak. My plumber, who doesn't speak good English, spent several hours cursing this "Chinese piece of garbage" (his words, I don't necessarily agree) before discovering the defect. He jerry-rigged a solution with the existing parts, but if he hadn't I would have been without a sink for a week or more - none of the supplied parts are available locally (including the connections, which appear to be non-standard threads), so I had to make a warranty claim via phone (which wasn't terribly difficult, but not easy either) and now I am waiting for a replacement part. Update: 10 weeks later and still waiting for the replacement part. Customer services is largely non-responsive.

Great faucet
Beautiful and functional. I’m very pleased with this faucet. I had it professionally installed, so I can’t comment on ease of installation, but I’m happy with the results.

Beautiful
Gorgeous. It looks far more expensive than it actually was. Very heavy. Hopefully it holds up as well as it appears it should. It looks more oil rubbed and shiny in person than the photos. In the pix online, it appears more of a matte black, which it isn’t.

Beautiful faucet
We love our faucet! Perfect for our Vintage country kitchen! Nice and heavy duty. Sprayer has some weight to it and the cord is pretty long. Great purchase. The color is definitly black- it may have just a hint of some highlighted bronze if you look really close.

Hot water flow .5gpm 12 connections where it can leak
You want an old fashioned high quality faucet and what you get is a poorly designed sure to fail modern headache. The faucet has 12 connection points to potentially leak from. A multitude of hoses connecting to a poorly designed manifold that limits the hotwater flow to .5gpm. Yes, I measured it. Cold water flows at 1.5gpm. Unfortunately this is a trickle that most instant hotwater heaters will not turn on with so essentially the sink has two cold water knobs. I ended up having to drill out the internal mechanism of the manifold to get the hotwater to flow at the proper rate. This now makes the sprayer work poorly. Could Kingston not have designed a proper high flow hotwater manifold and a simplified hose layout?
