Flimsy set screw attachment for handles and very short shanks.
I expected solid design from this faucet. For the most part is it solid, very heavy, overall a good look, classic appeal with clean, understated detail. Sadly, the shanks are not long enough for modern countertops, possibly for a formica top, but barely clear any natural stone. Extension shanks are necessary and are not supplied. Decent solid brass ones will cost $20-$30 each, and rarely come with a spacer, without which you won't clear the head of the nut. I have a 1.25 in soapstone slab and the shanks cleared it by a single thread before adding rubber washer. To add insult to injury, after waiting 3 days for the extensions, I mounted the faucet and couldn't believe the handles use a wimpy set screw as the only means of attachment. The one thing that will receive the most wear are the handles and there is nothing but a tiny 3/32 set screw to hold them in place. Really? They are not even strong enough to hold the handles level. Imaging what they will be like a year from now when they strip the broach at the top of cartridge stem. And you'll be out of luck if you think you can replace the handles with ones that are anchored with a screw top, as these cartridges do not have handle splines with traditional grooves, but tiny spikes which are easily bent with minimal pressure from the set screw. What an incredible disappointment. This level of detail is not shown in the diagram. Nowhere does it show how the handles are anchored, but all quality faucets I've purchased in the past have had an anchor screw through the top of the handle. So much for precision.

Amazon & Kingston Brass Customer Service Exceptional
At first when this faucet arrived missing the flange on the sprayer I was very upset. When I called Amazon customer service to get the issue resolved, the agent three way conference called Kingston Brass. Both customer service reps were amazing and helped me in obtaining the missing parts. Mistakes happen and I am not sure why it arrived with the missing parts but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently I was able to get it resolved. Thank you to all involved.

Love Kingston Brass!
This is the second Kingston Brass faucet I have purchased. It is solid! I have gotten many compliments on both faucets. Contractors thought it was a Rohl faucet (only the Rohl bridge faucet runs around $1200). The first faucet I ordered for my bathroom had porcelain handles with "hot" and "cold" printed on them. When the faucet arrived the handles were plain porcelain. Amazon suggested I contact Kingston directly. They were great to work with. They sent me correct handles, did not ask me to return the others, absorbed the shipping costs. Basically, they bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. That (along with the quality of the faucet) is why I am a return customer.

If you have 1" granite counters look else where
If you have 1" granite be prepared to purchase extensions so it will connect to the counter. $120 later it fits and looks great. Not happy about it not fitting and needed extensions.

Product is very poor quality, handles leak
Buyer Beware! Product is very poor quality, handles leak. We called the company in southern California and they told us it was Amazon's problem & that we should contact them, even though Kingston Brass product information lists a 10 year warranty. Amazon referred us back to Kingston Brass, who we contacted via email 7 days ago, no response. The complaints listed for this company on the Better Business Bureau website (and Yelp) echo their poor product and poor customer service. Look for a different faucet.

No stem puller or deep socket will fit!
Hot water tap is leaking after 3yrs. No problem right? WRONG! No stem puller wrench will fit down between the stem nut and the riser casing. Deep well sockets also will not fit. Checked all the big box stores and Ace Hardware. Nothing. Called tech support in Chino, CA hoping there was some other way of getting the valve stem out that wasnt so obivious. They suggested seeing if Harbor Freight Tools had a "thin walled deep well socket" they did not. Home depot had a thinner walled Husky 16mm socket but still will not slide down the opening. I'm still looking for answers on how to get the valve stem out. I have the replacement that Kingston sent me but I can't use it if I can't get the old one out. My plumber is puzzled. All of his wrenches won't fit.
