GREAT DIVERTER !

This diverter valve locks in solid when activated! Other valve wanted to pop out continuously while showering. The "POLISHED BRASS" finish compliments my existing Speakman Any Stream shower head which is polished brass also.

Leaked like crazy, couldn't orient the knob towards the side

Did I just get unlucky and get a bad one? This leaked a LOT even after using various different washers and applying new plumbing tape.. most of it was from the knob and/or the two paths rather than the point you attach to your water line. It also did not seem to shut off flow completely, contrary to what some of the previous reviews had said. What was most problematic however was the fact that the part where you attach it to the shower never seems to stop being rotate-able no matter how hard you tighten it...which means that the weight of whatever you're attaching dictates/limits the orientations you can use. Once you add your two attachments, which ever attachment is heavier will cause the diverter to rotate. I had wanted to use this for a hose on the side, but found that once I attached the hose, the diverter would rotate so that the hose was on the bottom and knob was on the top - rather than having the knob at the side like I wanted. The only reason I'm adding a star is because it does appear to be durable/all-metal construction and had a nice hefty weight.

Very good quality and it does what it's supposed to

Very good quality and it does what it's supposed to, but I wish I would have known that the side with the cover works as a button to change the water flow from one side to the other. I was looking for one which allows the water to run from both sides at the same time.

Does what it's supposed to do and seems to be holding up well. About the only gripe I have is it's not easy to operate. I can handle it, but it's really hard for my wife. We are older, so YMMV.

Very Happy

Very happy with it and at a great price. It works as I expected - it is a diverter, so it means it turns off the shower head to turn on the wand, which is what I expected. If you are looking for a device that will allow the head and wand to work at the same time, this is not the correct piece of equipment.

Very solid and works great!! I needed a bronze finish and not chrome so I sanded it and painted it.....looks nice and works fine!

Solid product, good finish, easy operation

I used this to install a Danze D465005RB hand shower addition to our shower, so this is used to divert water flow to or from the new hand held shower head. It is solid metal, well finished, and works like a charm after several months of daily use. Recommended without hesitation.
