Able replacement

Needed a replacement for worn-out Pegasus faucet where the plastic spray button had torn off, and the plastic shell had slight leaking crack from being dropped in the sink over its life. This is a low priced able substitute. The kit came with various adapters to work with different model pull-out faucets. While its versatility makes it work with multiple manufacturers, it is also the reason I did not give it five stars. The unit uses a flexible hose instead of a stainless steel hose that it replaced. Pros: the flexible hose will fit more faucet designs and the cost of the replacement is low. Cons: there is less water flow (skinnier hose), and the hose kinks more easily during use cutting off the water flow.

Low pressure design might last longer for hard water

Its a bit shorter but it screws on and fits. The functions seem cheap but at least it won't crack and leak over time because it's not a high pressure design like my original Pfister one was. My old one had half as many holes for the sprayer and were much smaller which created that high pressure spray, but it also clogged faster because I have very hard water which caused excessive calcium and lime buildup. The spray holes are big which requires good water pressure to create a strong spray. If you have a hard water problem, these may last longer also the spray will become stronger overtime as calcium and lime builds up inside the holes.

Works OK, doesn't last.

Fit well, looks good, and worked well. Unfortunately, developed a leak after about 34 months, which is a manufacturing defect. Leaked at a manufacturing seam, and if I hadn't caught it early, could have been dumping water down the hose (and under the sink) for a period of time, causing damage. Will try another brand this time.

My replacement for the replacement

This faucet has been working out very well. Parts intact and it sprays 1 of 2 ways. Exactly like the original. Thus far, very happy with it.

Good replacement for American Standard Faucet

Very easy to switch from spray to stream. Also when you turn off the water it goes back to stream. Much easier to use than the American Standard original. Wished I found this sooner.

Good replacement for my existing faucit

This fit right on Pfister faucet that I had in my kitchen. The old one just started to crack and drip a little because like this one it is just plastic, but it did last for years before that and I expect to get that sort of life out of this one. Button works well switching between the single stream and the shower type.

It's a squeal of a deal

It's close to original equipment at a fraction of the price. Only drawback: the sprayer makes a high pitched squealing sound when the button is depressed. Otherwise, it's a great product!

Not as good as Paini but cheaper...

The secondary spray is much weaker than the original sprayer from Paini-USA/Glacier Bay (Home Depot's in-house brand) and doesn't remove very much food debris. Received a replacement sprayer from Paini that works much better but it was $33 shipped~.

I bought many cheap wands to replace this one... don't do it and get this one... this one is a tiny bit noisy but not too aggresssive of spray and a decent flow rate on both settings.. I'm glad to find it again and replace my original
