Did the trick!

A friend had a really bad leak in a copper pipe in her finished basement. She took a few suggestions with no luck. My son recommended this to stop the leak, and sure enough it work like a champ!

Rothenberg Struggled After Several Days But Worked

We had a pin-hole leak on a hot water copper line, after the Texas freeze of 2021, where we had outdoor temps of 11-24 degrees Fahrenheit and no electricity for nearly a week. After nearly 10 days of not finding supplies to repair the leak, the Rothenberger began to struggle to contain the leak but it worked sufficiently as a temporary fix.

It works til the plumber gets there

I did have to get the two sizes to be covered. The plumbing in our house has a tendency to develop pinhole leaks. Having one of each size is a necessity in our neighborhood. Bad water? Cheap copper pipe? I don’t know. But I can put the Kibosh on it and wait for the plumber w/o worrying.

This is not a new product, but used.

The listing never indicated it was used. The item arrived in good condition and should work fine, but be aware they are not selling you a new product but are charging you for a new product. There needs to be more transparency on what's being sold.

Very well-made

I hope we never have the opportunity to use this but upon inspection this is very good quality pipe repair tool. Showed it to my plumber and he was very impressed with it too. This can buy you a lot of time if you can’t get a plumber to show up right away.
