Fit but didn’t come with hardware…

This fit my 2005 Kawasaki prairie 360 but it only came with the plate and no hardware. So a trip to the store and it’s all on. I was only able to line up 2 holes for the badlands 2500 atv winch.

The Right Mounting Plate For a Prairie 360

This plate was a quick and easy install and the reviews here from others helped me to pick a winch model with a Fairlead bolt pattern that matches the plate. I chose the Badland 3500 from Harbor Freight. I did not have to tweak or bend the u-bolts but if I did that would be pretty typical for a u-bolt and not a big deal. I like that the plate was easy to mount and the winch fits well. I liked it so much that I just bought a second one for my other Prairie.

Perfect fit. Easy install. Looks great.

A perfect fit for my Kawasaki 360. Like others have said, the u-bolts are of inconsistent width. I had to spread one of them to fit the holes in the plate. The other 3 fit fine. I used plastic wire ties to hold the mount in place while attaching the u-bolts as it's hard to hold it up while installing the u-bolts. It seems odd that the winch mounts upside down, but this way it leaves a large area for airflow directly to the oil cooler. The flat plate will help direct the air into the oil cooler. It actually looks good the way it is installed. I installed a Badlands 3500 without any problem whatsoever. The fairlead was a perfect fit. Be sure to use the shorter bolts, inserted from rear to front, to mount the fairlead to avoid the bolts interfering with the winch. I mounted the plate, then the winch, then the fairlead, tightening all bolts after everything was installed. The bolts attaching the winch to the plate were tightened last. The plate is way overpriced, as they all are. It cost about half what I paid for the winch on sale.

Fit my 2007 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 perfectly

I didn't read the reviews so I didn't realize that it would mount the winch upside down. This wasn't a problem for me, just unexpected. Installed easily by myself (although I installed the mount, then winch, then fairlead and the instructions say to install the mount last but that seemed way harder). There are a lot of complaints about the bolt holes and u-bolts but everything I have ever used with u-bolts has required a little finagling. I got one side on with a washer and nut, then got the other side in just far enough to thread the nut and used a socket wrench to tighten until there was room for the washer too. I was able to put 3 of them on that way by hand, the 4th one required a little hammering to get it through the holes far enough. The fairlead bolt pattern does not work with the fairlead that comes with the Badlands 2500lb winch, FYI. Had to buy a separate fairlead that would fit this mount. But the mount is solid and looks much cleaner than the jimmy-rigged mounting plates I had tried to use before.

Worked great for my 07 Kawasaki & badlands winch

This worked great for installing the HB badlands 2500 winch on my 07 Kawasaki prairie 2x4. I agree with another reviewer that putting the winch on after plate was installed seemed easier. As per those that had issues getting the plate ubolts in, take a hammer or mallot and give some love taps. Goes in easy. Where each ubolt goes, one whole is longer and start with that one. Had no issues what so ever and installation was simple.

Simple install, well made.

This is a quality piece of steel, well finished, clean, and powder coated beautifully. Installing onto the Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 was simple and easy- took maybe 1/2 hr at most to install the winch/plate/fairlead with simple basic tools. It fit perfectly to the ATV and the Superwinch LT3000 bolted right on with its fairlead. This bracket mounts to the top of the horizontal bars of the bumper that extend back to attach to the frame of the ATV. The winch then mounts to the underside of the bracket so that the winch is upside-down under the bracket. Mounting is accomplished with 4 u-bolts and nylock nuts.

Instructions so-so. The U bolts were too narrow to fit around the atv frame tubes. Two person job to get the heavy winch mounted upside down.
