flimsy
Not as sturdy as I thought it would be, I kept this only because I will be using it as a curtain rod for a narrow door, would not recommend unless using for a bathroom window. Very cheap looking.

Been using them for a year and they work as expected
I have been using these for nearly a year and I like them a lot. I got them to hang curtains in my hallway to block guests off from bedroom and basement access spaces during parties. I use very long but very light weight curtains in these areas. I use one in my bedroom doorframe so I can have the door open for my dog to go out in the house, but still have it blocked off for privacy or heat. That one falls way more often as the curtain is heavy and sometimes I'm rushing out the door. It doesn't fall on its own from the weight of the curtain, but I think the curtain weight contributes to it's fall when I step or tank on it. I'd say it's fallen about 10 times in the past year. Most of them were from my partner who doesn't always notice fragile things and his two insane dogs coming over and jumping on it. The tall curtains have only called a few times (when I step on the or manipulate them too much) which is good because I have to get on a ladder to put those back up. These are a great alternative to installing hardwear and a rod.

Fairly good, cheap tension rod!
Living in an apartment has it's challenges like, lack of towel racks in the kitchen! So I bought a few of these to hang over my sink to hold dishrags, towels and paper towels. I figured I would give them a try because I wanted something a bit nicer looking than your usual tension rod. They are fairly good. To get them to extend, you have to twist the bar until it's the desire length. I did extend them about 1 inch longer than the space I was putting them in to make sure I got a nice tight hold but they were still easy to put up. They stay in place while one holds a full roll of paper towels and a cloth towel and the other is holding a wet dishrag. I wouldn't put too much weight on them because they are still cheap tension rods, but they should be able to hold a good sized curtain. The reason I took off a star was because they do not look as nice as in the photo. They still have a cheap look and feel to them, but they still look fancier than your standard tension rod. But if you are using them as a curtain rod, the cheap look really shouldn't matter much!

Quality Tension Rod
I'm very happy with these rods. I ordered three of them and all were exactly the same. The brushed silver finish provides a nice matte look that doesn't look cheap. The windows in my guest room are set very close to the corners of the room and regular drapery rods with the decorative ends would have looked strange so I opted to hang curtains from tension rods instead. These were the perfect size for my almost exactly 28" windows and the tension is strong enough to hold up a single panel (I did not test two panels, but in my opinion, they would hold with no problem at all). There hasn't been the slightest movement since I hung the curtain panels three days ago. My only complaint is that they seem a little bit pricey - nearly $10.00 per tension rod. I should have priced them out better because Walmart carries them at half the price. [...]

Great Tension rod curtain
I bought rods like this from two different companies and I love them both. These ones are perfect for my 80 cm wide windows, but your curtains have to be light, ok? Mine are opaque, but very very light so the rods stay perfectly in place. I underline this fact after having read many reviews and the conclusion was buy a rod in function of your curtains dimensions, of course, but above all your curtains' weight, logical, no? They are very easy to settle, juts like the rods showers if you know this system. You just have to turn them like you would do with a screw until they stay perfectly in place being in tension between the window support or wall, etc.Very easy. I put them in place more than one month ago and they have not moved at all.

Good for kitchen curtains
The product shipped all right and was not bent when I received it. It feels a bit flimsy, hence the four stars, but overall it's good for the price point. I was almost able to install it only using my non-dominant hand, since my dominant arm was broken at the time of install - had to get help from my fiancé only because I was too short! I used it for some light curtains in my kitchen window, and it has held up well even after a couple of months.

Adequate
For the price, these are good. Although they are adequate, I wonder if other brands hold the tension better. If one doesn't need to move the rods daily, up and down the window, I'm sure they work great - truly. I use them in my art studio where I need to adjust the light and therefore move them once or twice a day and the tension could be stronger. With so many windows, the price fit my budget, so no complaints.

Does the job!
This is not a sturdy curtain rod so if thats what you need do not buy however if its for a light weight curtain etc it definitely does the job quite well

The rod does not meet the specification given.
I feel doubly cheated -- price-wise and product-wise. The product specification says the rod measures 1.5 cm (dia) but the item I received is only about 1 cm in diameter. So, when tension is a bit increased to tight-fit about 36", the rod tends to bend. I find others too reporting the rod being thin. I advise everyone to avoid this supply route. https://www.amazon.in/Kenney-Spring-Window-Curtain-48-Inch/dp/B009U20JSC/ref=sr_1_16?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1510589546&sr=1-16&keywords=spring+tension+curtain+rod

Not sturdy
You get what you pay for, and if what you're hanging up is SUPER light, then these may work for you, but they bent for me and also kept falling down because they don't have good grips on the ends. Didn't work for what I was trying to use them for (hanging up empty purses).

Great for very lightweight curtains!
I got this as a low-cost, short term solution for a broken bathroom blind. The lace curtain I hung was very lightweight. It's been up for 2 months now and is doing the job very well. I suspect heavier curtains may be a problem though.

It does the job for light curtains
Very reasonable price. It looks fragile but it does the job to hold light curtains.
