Finally a belt that can get just the right fit to feel comfortable!
As someone who has struggled to find comfortable and long-lasting belts in the past, the Kenneth Cole compression belt has been a game-changer for me. I love how this belt clicks into place at more frequent intervals, ensuring a perfect fit every time. The small notches on the back of the belt provide just the right amount of support, even after two years of use. Although the belt buckle has some wear and tear from regular use, it still looks great and continues to hold up nicely. If you're looking for a stylish and reliable belt that will last, the Kenneth Cole compression belt is definitely worth checking out. Summary: Nice looking. Easy to use. Good Quality product

Great looking, good fit, hard release button
This isn't my first Kenneth Cole ratcheting belt. I bought the Classic Brown option from this series as well. The Classic Brown one is 5-star. I love it. I wear it everyday for the last year or so when I wear my brown work Khakis. So, the quality is there. This black belt is very stylish, durable, and comfortable for a 34 inch waist on the Large size. I bought 2 of these. One for me and one for a Christmas gift. So, I was able to test 2 of them at the same time. The only issue I found was actually kind of terrifying at first. I ratcheted the belt to a snug fit and felt good. Then I tried to undo the "release" lever on the side of the buckle. This is a common design for the Kenneth Cole Perfect Fit belts. Well, it didn't "click" off and release pressure. I kept trying. I felt like I had to be doing something wrong or going the wrong direction. Pretty soon, I felt like a cat stuck in a bag handle. I was bouncing around, panicked it wouldn't release. I had to disrobe with the belt tight, which was painfully difficult. After the pressure of my waist was gone, holding my pants and belt in front me the lever popped easily to release pressure. I practiced several times to get used to the "direction" I had to go. It was the same as the other belt I own. I put the pants on again, and tightened the belt. Same problem, I was fiddling with the lever a lot and it wouldn't give. However, this time I knew how it worked. I gave it an extra effort beyond what I think is reasonable for this release and it popped. Definitely hurt the fingers a little bit. I checked the 2nd belt, and it was the exact same feel on the release. The 1st belt had some stretch to it and I concerned I broke it or loosed the buckled end. I actually took it a part and this is strong metal with a clamp system for the end of the belt to the leather. What I learned here is this product is a high quality belt that doesn't rely on some dinky set screws into leather to hold it together. Major plus here for long term durability, and trimming and fixing later. My advice when you get the belt, practice with the release before you put it on. Remember, it will take some doing to get the lever to pop and release the ratchet pressure. The quality, strength, and style greatly out weigh its one flaw. Plus, over time, it might release easier as it wears in.

DO NOT PUT THIS BELT ON UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO REMOVE
To be clear, this is a very nice looking belt. However, if you have been using belt holes and a buckle your whole life (like me) it can be extremely confusing to take off, NOT to put on. If you are like me, you may have come here desperate for advice on how to take the belt off after wearing it for hours (doh). There is a dotted lever that you must push forward to release the belt, with forward being AWAY from your crotch. This is very hard to see clearly if you already have the belt on and have it wrapped snuggly around your waist. Again, push the spotted lever forward and away from your waist. If you can't see because you have the belt on, the spotted lever is underneath the middle-right of the bottom of the buckle. If you feel anything moving down there try to push it forward. Pressing down on it, as youtube ratchet belt guidance suggests, will NOT work. push/pull forward and away from your crotch. Hope this guidance helps prevent someone from cutting off a perfectly new belt. I included a picture of the 'spotted lever' push up from the thinner side. I hope this helps the next brother in need.

Great until it falls apart
Nice belt until about 6 months of wearing and it starts falling apart and separating. Filed a warranty claim and never got a response either…

Great, but...
Can't complain a lot--the belt fits as expected and looks great...but the mechanism to loosen the belt seems to jam semi-occasionally and makes it difficult to remove.

Holds tight, easy to remove
My previous adjustable belt didn’t have a track. Instead, a roller got a good grip on the belt to hold it in place. Unfortunately the belt material was thin and eventually tore. With this new track system the buckle hangs on with a spring loaded clip on the bottom. There’s a small latch on the buckle to lift the clip and remove the belt. My gf hasn’t yet figured out how to operate it. She can’t rip off my pants when she’s feeling randy.

Not as pictured!
Unfortunately this belt was needed, otherwise it would have been returned. I wanted to open buckle style but what came was the flat faced style. I thought maybe it was a mistake so I ordered it again hoping I'd get the right item, they sent to same, wrong item. The fit was good and the belt seems decent quality, but it does not look anything like what is pictured! Flat buckle and brown on the inside. Disappointed.

Broken after a month of use
- Product worked well and was very fashionable but broke today. - The rod attached to the spring system broke as I went to open it with a light amount of pressure - Had this not happened, or if there was a more easily accessible way to return the product, I would give this product a 5-star review.

Wonderful belt but, HOW DO YOU RELEASE IT!?
Oh great. I put this on and now I have no idea how to undo it.
