These are great for me in the restaurant I’m going back and forth between FOH and BOH.
Only thing I didn’t like and it’s this way with almost any pair of Keens lichen wear I’ve ever gotten the eye lets and show string always fail

I am still searching for that perfect kitchen shoe
I had hoped for greatness when I purchased these, but am left with another kitchen shoe that will do for the time. The non slip is good. They have a slight play in grip, but I don't actually slip while walking on oil or wet smooth floors. The leather feels durable and definitely will feel nice after they break in. They are easy to clean. My dislikes: The tongue on one of the shoes was sown and cut improperly. There was a pressure point due to this poor craftsmanship that jabbed the top of my foot pretty fierce. I trimmed the piece down and super glued the loose broken threads. The insoles are not great. Definitely not the comfort they boast. The upper is not sown to the soul. This is definitely a detail I look for. I have had plenty of shoes that have failed where the upper separated from the soul after a few months. I imagine the same will be the fate of these. Only time will tell. All in all a decent shoe. I am glad I caught them on sell though. I was hesitant to purchase them at full price and am glad I waited. The search for the perfect kitchen shoe continues.

60/hr a week in restaurants. Fantastic shoe, holds up to the standards required.
I bought some Keens just like these without the lacing a long time ago and they lasted about a year and a half, super solid shoes for the price it was then. Then I got these just before the price skyrocketed, and I have experienced worse slip resistance in these, I don't know how, but it's not as grippy on wet and oily surfaces even after breaking them in. Maybe something happened in the process of crafting the soles in the factory and some kind of coating was over-applied or something different with the rubber formula? I'm not sure but the result stands true to my experience of carrying a case of 2 dozen romaine and stepping on one puddle of water and falling completely backward whereas my other Keens would have handled it with no problem. And for my final reason for the 4 stars, I understand inflation has majorly occurred in the US where I live, but to up the price from $89.90 to $139.90 is nuts to me, these WERE my tried and true restaurant shoes but now once these break down unless the price comes down at least by like 20 bucks or so, I guess I'll look at some sketchers or something. Overall, the construction is great, and everything else about this shoe in terms of comfort and durability stands as some of the toughest in the price range.

Comfortable
Best Keen shoe I have purchased. Comfortable, shoelaces that actually stays tied. Grips well to all surfaces, safety is one reason these shoes rate a 5 star with me.

KEEN...WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?!
Amazon needs to update the images to reflect the new version of these cheapened shoes. I've been wearing these amazing shoes for over 10 years. They're one of the very few work shoes that kept my feet happy when I need to be on them for a few hours. I have to think that someone bought out KEEN, because for the life of me, I can't understand some of the changes they've made in this shoe. Most noticeable is the padding, these use to be quite padded in the heal, the tongue..the padding has been cut in half, affecting fit, and comfort. These always felt like cozy slippers, right out of the box. The shoe also feels lighter, and seems to be from the sole material being thinner, or not as dense. Other than the padding not keeping my foot as snug in the shoe, thankfully, the fit of the shoe hasn't changed. Sadly, they now use the slightly firmer insert (canteen version), and along with the not as firm sole, my feet now ache within a hour of wearing them, something that NEVER happened with the old version. FOLKS...if these were "improvements", companies would brag about it in their advertising. They've also replaced their great laces, with black waxed tennis shoe laces. I've only worn these a few times to see if they can somehow be broken in, which these shoes NEVER needed. We'll see how they hold up. The only things that wore out on the old version were the heal lining material, and the sole.

Great non slip work shoe.
My son is on his 10th year of wearing these Keen work shoes. He works 25 hour a week (all the time on his feet) they don’t rub or hurt his feet, they are non slip, and comfortable. He’s doing wet and dry tasks without issue. A pair lasts him close to a year, and he logs a lot of miles on them.

Super comfortable and super durable
I wear these virtually every day at work for 10+ hours. At least half that time is standing or walking. I have always had wide feet, but about 5 years ago I started having toe pain in almost any shoe I tried. It's been 4 years since I bought my first pair of these so I don't completely remember, but I think it was the Keen website that has a sizing tool. You measure your foot or print out a template or something. Anyway I ended up getting what was recommended and no more toe pain. It's a shame I can't wear anything else, but I'm glad I have something. They're not cheap, but I can't tell the difference between my 2015 pair and my 2017 pair. I bought another pair in 2019 just to keep in the box because I'm so dependent on these comfortable shoes, but I like them so much better than the Sketchers that I used to wear that would fall apart in a couple of years (I literally had the sole fall off a pair of my Sketchers tennis shoes and my sketcher's work shoes. And those I rotated, the Keen I wear the same pair every day so it gets much more wear, but lasts much longer. I was reading some negative reviews on here from 2015 & 2016 saying they didn't last well, so I felt compelled to add my experience as it was not the same. I'm actually tempted to buy a 4th pair even though I don't need it because I don't know what I'm going to do it if they discontinue this model. Everything else hurts my toes to some degree.

My Son loves them!
My son loves these for work. He Works in the theatre serving food and is on his feet the whole time. They fit great right off the start. With having no seams there is no rubbing so no sore spots. They give him good support so his back is feeling better. Over all a great shoe for the industry he is in. Great shoes!

the closest thing to a perfect work shoes
This is my third pair of pic dress oxford, i love everything about it, the design, features, fit and comfort. Since i found this shoes, i never look for brands and models. A pair lasts for couple of years give or take. The only issue is the footbeds. They are so comfortable but doesn't lasts as long as the shoes so I have to buy replacement insoles.
