Things to consider

In general, I love KEEN. The sizing seems to be off by a 1/2 smaller increasing the exposure of one's toes to obstacles (ouch). I regret not getting a 1/2 size larger. The insole of the shoe has a coarse texture that may irritate sensitive feet and most definitely will accumulate dead skin and dirt. I scrub clean the insoles every few weeks. Functionally, the sandals are great. I would definitely buy again, but get a larger size.

Comfortable but not durable

I've only had these sandals for a few short months and they are falling apart. The toe strap on the left sandal is pulling out of the insole and both insoles have developed this strange wave like pattern in the insoles and I have barely worn these sandals. They cost too much to just come apart like this so I would not recommend them. On the flip side they are very comfortable and the straps fit my feet quite well which is a shame because it's hard to find arch support sandals these days.

Edit: NOT the Worst and weirdest fitting sandal ever

You get used to the fit. I just bought another pair and realized my original review was far too harsh. They are too wide and too short in length for me, but far less so than you think judging from my original review. I raised my rating from one star to four. And no, I did not have any contact from the seller or anyone about my original review. These sandals are good enough for me, and they last a long time even if you walk a lot in them every day, as I do. Both the soles and the straps last, although the straps are way too long for me because I have to have it so tight, but still, good enough, so much so that I am enjoying my recently purchased second pair now. Original: The sandals are both too large and too small at the same time because the length is too short and the straps cannot be tightened enough to keep your feet from moving all over on the sandal... Huge disappointment considering they were not, I thought, something that would end up being worth about one dollar given how poorly they fit. I have never had such a badly, weirdly fitting sandal, and I have worn different sandals for well over 50 years.

fat ankles beware but great shoes

i might have to add some velcro hooks (2") for my fat ankles across the top. the rest fits perfect. it is not just keens, it is every shoe out there that doesn't fit my ankles it seems and the only fix i know is to go with 14/15 sizes but my feet are size 13. i just didn't want to look like a clown tripping over my own feet with these.

Less comfortable than my…..

These are less comfortable than my Filas but I will get used to the rough footbed. A little smaller than expected but not too small. Well constructed and I like the elastic rear strap. No slip when walking and stylish enough. Recommend

My favorite sandals

Love these things. Very comfortable. Great for walking. Put a lot of miles on these when I'm at the beach, and there's no discomfort at all. Better than shows, in fact. Doesn't hurt that you can use them in the rain and there's no damage to the uppers. Well worth the money.

Comfortable fit

I was looking to replace my two sets of Teva's. Both were fifteen years old but durable and comfortable. Was looking to replace them with another set if Teva's but did not like what I saw. In looking for replacements a came across these Keen sandals and decided to give them a try. They are extremely comfortable and fit me to a T. If they feel as good after using them for a while at kayaking and beach walking I'll certainly order another pair.

Quality sandals - Really comfortable

I wear a size 11 shoe in ASICs, Clarkes and most brands... and these fit perfectly. The straps are very soft and don't rub. The soles are fairly grippy on wet rocks.

Really comfortable and light

I just recently got these sandals for use around water and beach and maybe some walking in a hot climate. I have yet to use them outside of the house as its winter here so I'll update review again when back from hols. Anyway they are amazingly comfortable and I find myself wearing them around the house as slippers :). I have a pair of Keen newport closed toe sandals for a few years which are well worn but great for summer walking so I'm hoping these last as long.

Very comfortable and easy to open and close straps

I’ve had Keen shoes before, but never their sandals - I’ve always been a Birkenstock guy! These are great - comfortable, good grips, supportive, and easy to do up and undo. I still have my Birkenstocks, bit I really like these Keens too!
