Cutest tea kettle

This is the cutest tea kettle ever. I bought this one purely for the aesthetics of it. I think it is absolutely adorable, and I love the way it looks just sitting on my range hood at all times. I have used it to boil water in a few times, and it does a great job with that as well. I bet I looked at over a hundred different tea kettles before I decided on this one… this one suits me perfectly.

Cute!

A lot of tea gets made in this house, the pot is always on the stove, so I figured it might as well be a cute one!! Love the color. The handles don't get hot for me on my electric stove, though the spout does. It is a very quiet whistle. The handle already feels a little loose when picking up. But it is cute and makes the tea, so it'll do.

It’s just okay

This could’ve been a lovely gift, however Amazon didn’t bother putting this inside an actual box. They slapped the shipping labels right on the pink gift box and that’s how it arrived. All scuffed up, taped up, and all weathered. Disappointed.

Quality issue

I like the kettle but will return for another as mine has what appears to be painting or welding defects. Also looks like it got shortcutted on a coat of paint …

Pretty, not practical

It is a very pretty piece. But the handle and the cap on the spout heat up and if you don't use a hot pad to open and pour, it will burn you. My husband didn't know and grabbed it, burning his hand.

best teapot on amazon

I searched for HOURS trying to find the best teapot to purchase on amazon. I bought several others from Chantal in a similar price range and those were AWFUL, the quality was so subpar so I returned them right away. That led me to try one of these Kate Spade ones…the quality right out of the box was apparent. There were no chips in the enamel or scratches on the metal like I encountered on the other brands. This teapot heated up very quickly and the whistle was loud, despite what others have said BUT it did produce steam well before the whistle started to get loud so I could see if you took it off early, it would seem as if though it was not very loud. I would personally disregard a lot of the damaged photos on the reviews (they made me initially hesitate) since those people looked liked they probably forgot it on the burner too long so clearly user error and not the product itself. The product is very well made so I can’t imagine the enamel falling off with proper use & cleaning (don’t put a teapot in the dishwasher, people, lol)…

Attractive kettle

This is a really lovely, attractive kettle that brightens up my kitchen. While there was a slight bulge in the enamel of the exterior, it seems to be flush with the underlying metal and the rest of the piece is immaculate (I will update if it turns out to be a problem). The whistle on this kettle isn't too loud, and it isn't as consistent or nice sounding as my previous kettle (a cheap OXO kettle I got 2nd hand), but I didn't buy this kettle because I thought it would sing! I can hear it when it's done, that's enough. It does spit a tiny little bit from the spout as it whistles, but not enough to make a mess. The handle tends to get warm but not hot, however I have fitted a pan handle holder onto it so even if it was an issue it'd be easily solved with the addition of the hot handle holder. I love the detail of "Whistle while you work" on the cap. I found that this kettle boils water more quickly than my previous, and because a magnet sticks to the bottom of this kettle it will work when I upgrade to an induction cooktop as well. All in all, I was looking for a stylish but functional new kettle and feel this delivered.

Adorable

Was out of stock when I ordered but didn't have to wait too long. Totally worth the wait. Very Cute. Not bright white but creamy white which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend I use it for decor only...do not know how it performs as a kitchen appliance

Magnifique

I really love my new kettle, is beautiful. The enamel is of good quality, inside and out. It cleans out easily, the whistle works fine (except it become very hot), everything is great. My only concern is the handle... when the kettle is full and heavy, I feel like the handle is going to rip out of it screws. It bends A LOT... so... I am careful to fill it up in small amount... but sometimes I do need to fill it up completely... so we will see if it pass the test of time....

All around charming

It’s my absolutely favourite thing in my kitchen. So cute, not expensive despite a designer brand. The blue is more like black, but that doesn’t matter to me. I wanted a stove top kettle to save counter space, and the whistling is the perfect tone and just so charming - not too loud, not screechy. The only thing is that is does boil water VERY hot (if you let it reach whistle) and I often have to let my drinks cool off for a little while.

Great buy

The media could not be loaded. Love the design and size. weak whistle but I like that it’s no ear piercing either. Lid secured as expected. Handle does not get hot. I’m not sure why all those reviews says it does. Maybe they leave it boiling too long? Spout gets hot but I can still press it down just fine after boiling. It’s been a couple months and so far no rusting. And I keep water in it constantly.
