Quality materials
I like that it is made of quality materials and seems very sturdy. The top doesn't fit on very securely but I probably won't use it much in that way.

Perfection. Simple. A frying pan, and pot in one.
This is campfire ready. I cooked cornbread and fish in the frying pan with ease. It's big enough to feed two, or three people with ease. You can fit a full size bass in the frying pan. The whole thing is about a pound. I am ordering the smaller size for when I go out by myself. I am very impressed with the model and reccomend it to my fellow campers who like to cook. Also this is a good buy for the home kitchen. You get fancy stainless steel plus it comes with the frying pan and pot. The pot has a handle bail with the option to lock in the up position so you can hang it on a stick and don't have to worry about the thing tipping at all. I used it to cook rice and it works well. The only maintenance is to wash it when you get done cooking. A tip is if something gets stuck burnt on good then heat it up with no water in it till it is red glowing hot and then dunk it in the creek. For some reason that loosens up the burnt carbon so it can be cleaned off with a rag. The construction on this product is top notch. It's light enough to be backpackable but durable enough not to break in the back country when you need it. The bail and wire handles are sturdey and you can wave it around violently back and forth without fear of it breaking. It is that solid. It is also dishwasher safe. I don't know what else to say. It's everything I wanted in a cook kit for backpacking. You get a perfect size frying pan for frying fish and you get a 3 qt pot for purifying water. It fits in my Kelty Super Tioga 5500 backpack nicely and I keep my firekit inside of it so there is no space lost. You make up for the extra weight of the steel by not having to bring a water filter. Just strain the water through a nylon/synthetic cloth and boil it. I say nylon because if you use cotten the towel will not dry easially.

My views and some Tips to stop the rattle.
I purchased the 1 quant AND the 3 quart pots so this is a joint review.... The 1 quart pot is TINY almost to the point of being useless for general camp cooking. ( I like multi-use items / pots).. The skillet / lid is 5 1/2 inches across ( about the size for 1 sausage patty OR 1 egg to cook) and it feels like it has spiral grooves on the inside, bottom of the skillet.. I buffed these out after experimenting with the skillet and having food stick to the bottom, then I seasoned the skillet (YES you can because ALL metal has pores, some are just smaller than others) after it was buffed smooth so now food doesn't stick nearly as bad or not at all if you watch what you are doing. So buff out the rings in these pots with 600 or smaller grit emery cloth...(Doing this step first saved me form having to scrub stuck on food form the large -3quart- skillet and pot) Both pots are passable weight / durability wise and are a good value for the price. ----- Wish ----- I wish that Olicamp offered this set in 2 and 4 Quart sizes because I think they would make a nice nesting set and the 2 and 3 quart sizes seem to me to be the most useful for one of my styles of camping (canoe) ------TIP------ Get a piece of 1/8th inch shock cord, thread it thru the horse shoes of the handle bases and fasten it with a cord lock to make a big "rubber" band and stop the RATTLE everyone is complaining about.

Good 3 Qt Pot
A nice 3 qt stainless steel camp pot. Pros: The pot is sturdy enough to get the cooking done Built in frying pan (top) Stainless steel, so it can be beat up and still cook without teflon infiltrating your food. Great for soups and stews. Comes with included mesh carrying bag Cons: Lightweight comes at a price in that the pot is kind of flimsy feeling (but definitely not junk) The top doesn't always stay on well when cooking or carrying. If used in the field or on a small stove there is a good chance this pot will get discolored (have to mention) When frying, things have a tendency to stick- even with oil. If you are looking for a useful three qt stainless steel pot for camping and or backpacking this one does the job and the added frying pan lid is a nice bonus. B+

Good enough to work with.
Stainless steel is nice, and for this price, made it a more affordable option for camping. I wanted something that did not have any chemical coating on it. I like the handle, as it locks into place when being used, so it won't rotate when you don't want it to. Can be hung over open fire like a Dutch oven (nice option that other non-handle competitors can't boast). The frying pan is a nice size also. The handle bars come off, to make cleaning easier (which it is). Comes with nice mesh webbing so it can dry on the go (hanging on the outside of the pack), and or store items with the set, or use also as an additional storage bag without the set (saving more money, to keep your gear together). As prior reviewers have said, the lid is loose (hence the 3 stars). Unless you have the pot full of gear/food to the lid, it will make a loud pot rattling noise when you are moving around. This is a negative, if one is trying to see/take pictures of wildlife (or if you are one of those people who don't like repetitive banging noises with every step too :) ).

Good for milking goats
I got this for milking my Nigerian Dwarf goats. The size and shape are perfect, I’m just not super impressed with the sturdiness and quality for the price. The handle gets caught on the rim of the bucket and the bottom has already buckled a bit. I don’t regret my purchase, I just don’t LOVE it for the price.

nice little pot.
I got this pot instead of a zebra billy because of the shape. Billy pots tend to be tall and narrow, this one is wide and short. Plus it came with a small saucer/frying pan. It is actually constructed well. Good quality steel for the price, loop handle locks in place so the contents dont dump into the fire when suspended over it. The loop handle is the same design as the zebra, as it is a flat piece of metal verses a round wire type loop handle. That makes it a little more difficult for pot hangers made from tree branches and such, but hey, nothing in this world is perfect-except my wife, of course.
