Great product and easy to use!
I have used these plugs for a couple of years, and they are great! I have a handicapped person in the home who has extreme difficulty walking. These plugs are a life saver. They are extremely compatible with Alexa, and it makes life much easier being able to turn on and off devices without having to get up and walk to the device. Purchased an additional four pack in November and had no trouble setting them up. I had to replace my router this past week and could not get the eight devices to connect. Not a problem! I called the Kasa Customer Support number and a great live agent named Winnie Liu did a fantastic job of getting me back up and running. I cannot speak to all the representatives in this support center but if you are lucky enough to get Winnie you have reached the ABSOLUTE BEST. She was extremely patient and walked me through resetting all the plugs I have - 100% satisfied. Her English is excellent, her patience with a non- technical person was above and beyond. Her knowledge of the equipment and the process to solve my problem. Every call Support Center should have employees of this quality, but unfortunately, they do not! Congrats to Winnie, Kasa Smart and TP Link! Ron

Gives you control of devices at work and home!
I was leery of using WiFi plugs and power strips. Not anymore! These devices allow me to control my devices that do not need to be on all the time. With the scheduling option, I can set my 7 Surface Hubs (independently) to power on and power off. This means, no more having multiple devices on all night and including weekends. Another useful control piece, for those that use network extenders (I use TpLinks) is the ability to cycle the power/reboot these even when you are not home. If you have other users and or devices reliant on the extenders and they are not talking, you simply turn the Kasa device off for 30 seconds and then turn back on. **remember the Kasa has to be on an independent SSID and not the extender SSID; as you will loose connection to the Kasa once you turn it off** Let it come back online and test the devices connected to them (wireless security camera or maybe smart bulbs). I like the fact that I can also control the charging of my mobile phones too. I can set a schedule for our phone’s charging while we sleep. Set the schedule to start at 9pm and off a few hours later. Another helpful use, is plugging in battery chargers (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 volt types). You can put the Kasa on a countdown timer for 8-10 hours and check the batteries the next day. You can set it and forget. When you need batteries they are ready. Enjoy!

Love these mini smart plugs.
I have them all over. I have one set to turn off every other night for 10 minutes and then turn back on. This essential reboots my home network (router/modem). Especially great if I’m out of town and my internet messes up. I have one on my garage door opener for nights and times we’re away. So no one can use my technology against me to gain access to my home. One on the Arlo bases station in case I need to reboot it remotely. I also have them on various other home items in case I want them powered off/on at certain times. Or if I want to IFTTT some automated lights. They’re brilliant! They work well. And they’re a good price. Zero complaints.

The most versatile plug available. Easily integrates with Alexa and SmartThings
These are so much better than other WiFi smart plugs I have used because: - UL certification - Able to handle the full 15A of a normal outlet. Whether you use this or not, it's better to have a device that's able to handle higher amperage than not. - Supports WPA3 WiFi as well as older standards that are less secure. - Easily integrates with Alexa and SmartThings (and other services I haven't tried). Cons and FYI - As with other smart devices, it only works on the 2.4 GHz WiFi band. My personal WiFi automatically switches between 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz, so I set up my Guest network to only be 2.4 GHz and put all of my smart devices on that network. - The size is obviously large, but two can fit top/bottom on a normal outlet. On a two-gang outlet, I can use two Kasa smart plugs and two normal plugs. - Changes made in the Kasa Smart app propagate to Alexa, but not to SmartThings (manual editing is required). New devices added via the Kasa Smart app propagate as originally edited (Name and Room) to SmartThings and stay that way.

Amazing product to track power usage
I have been using kasa for a while. I needed 4 plugs that monitor power consumption for my 3D printers.... And of course the USA has them. I wish I lived in the US. Canada is amazing but lack of options make it difficult to find products at reasonable prices like this. Not only does it work with all my smart speakers but it just simply works perfectly. I highly recommend these whether you are looking for power consumption monitoring or smart plugs in general. I have about 90 other smart plugs but kasa has proven itself to be the best of the bunch.

Easy setup for both HomeKit and Alexa.
I wanted to add some extra control over some outlets like turning of the power to the printer and being able to turn it back on without going downstairs. At home I don’t mind leaving a print job on the printer it’s not like I’m in the office, that drives me crazy. Like I said simple setup. Scan the home kit QR code set it up then it prompts you to set it up in the Alexa environment. DONE! Hey Alexa/Siri turn on printer.

So handy
Put a few of these on various items throughout our home. The best use is on my small tractor in the shop. Using a Deco wireless mesh system I was able to connect on of these to the network and start the block heater on my tractor from inside the house. 45 minutes later i go out and start the tractor without issue in subzero temps.

Easy to set up and reliable
I had the earlier version of the Kasa smart plug which only worked with Alexa, but I needed to expand my system to include Apple HomeKit. This was an easy and reliable way to add lamps to the new bigger system. I did find that it is most useful to start with the Kasa app to add the plug to Alexa and then to add it to HomeKit after that. That way it is most flexible.

Surprisingly reliable and easy to use
I’ve had multiple versions of this type of smart plug from different manufacturers over the past few years, and I took a chance on this one, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The previous ones seemed to regularly lose connection and randomly stop responding even without ever losing power or being unplugged, however these have been very reliable and even work from multiple floors away. I’ve even left a couple unplugged for a few days while rearranging things and expected to have to go through the setup process with them again but I was literally able to just plug them in and use as if they were never moved.

Great addition to any smart home
I love these little guys. They work well and can be integrated into my Amazon Echo devices with ease. I use them to turn on lamps that don’t have smart bulbs in them. I also used them to turn on and off the Christmas tree and lights that were indoors. I wouldn't recommend using them outside as they seem to just be intended for use indoors. Great addition to any smart home and are relatively cheap if you catch them on sale like I did!

Great concept. Less than great function for certain commands.
Great idea, good price, but some flaws when using it with google home. These smart plugs are very convenient and are quite seamlessly integrated with google smart home. You can control via the home app or by voice, and you almost never have to use the KASA app after you do the initial install. We've used them for turning on/off lights on a daily schedule. Things with little draw are perfect for use on these rated plugs. I believe they can do 10amp? If you're controlling something like LED bulbs or a watering system, or a fan, then you're good! I wouldn't recommend running a heater, or a heavier duty pump on such a device. Here's my main grip: I installed my stick vacuum's hanging dock/charging station with one of these smart plugs attached so i could manage when it starts a charge cycle. Let me explain: dyson vacuums have a power boost setting that discharges the battery very quickly and heats up the motor/battery assembly while using this setting. It's not recommended that you put the vacuum on charge directly after using is on boost- it's suggested that you wait 5-10 minutes for it to cool down before charging it. But if you've ever used a stick vac, you'll know that they can't stand on their own, nor should you leave them leaning against a wall. So the most reasonable place to put it is back on its charging dock- but then it starts charging automatically! Anyway, with a smart plug, i was anticipating having the dock be unpowered when i place the vacuum in its cradle, and then give a command "google, turn the docking station on in 10 minutes". This way i can set the vacuum down, have it plugged into the charging station, and then allow it to cool down until the 10 minutes are up, and then start charging. Google wont allow a these plugs to be turned on using a countdown timer. I don't know why they allow scehdules to control the on/off but not a timer? I'm also not sure if this is an issue with only this type or brand of plug. But it greatly limits my usability of it. I'm going to continue using them, but i think the software designer should work on a fix for this!

Smart Plugs that work the way you want them to
I've owned a few different makes and models of Smart Plug and these ones are by far the most hassle free to set up and use. Plug in a new Smart Plug, tell the app to add it, the app actually finds it and updates it, you name it and you're good to go. Head over to your Alexa app and add the plug into devices or routines, and then it doesn't fail or just random flash colours at you when you wake up at 4am and actually need it to work (unlike so many other Smart Plugs I've owned). I just wrote a whole paragraph about how much I love a Smart Plug so if you'll excuse me I need to stop now and consider how my life got to this point but anyway these are great.
