Nice Product
The receptacle is about what I expected, pretty fair quality, and solid when installed. It gets a 4 for value for money because after the purchase I did find others that came with the jack inserts. It'd be really nice to find the unicorn, a recessed GFCI receptacle that comes with whatever jacks you specify

My lazy port.
I initially need a receptacle for my wall mounted monitor, but with this duplex I am able to install various ports, an HDMI port, two usb ports and a 3.5mm audio port. Installation was a bit difficult, if you chose to do the same as I did, I highly recommend you install 90° ports in the back and point them to the direction of there the wire is running.

Inflexible and Outdated
New model purchased May 2023. Warning, the outlets are not TR (tamper resistant), on like almost their entire product line. I personally don't care when well out of reach, but the NEC 2020 code revision cares for any and every outlet below 5½', and I prefer Low Voltage mounted just under the firestop at 4', so the three I bought are going straight back in favor of separate outlets and LV passthroughs. First thing to note, it's 3 pieces, a PVC box with 2 screws that must be driven into a 2x4 on the long depth, they drive in on the outlet side at 45° away from the 1½" exit hole, 2" won't catch or may just chip out the corner of the stud. The box can be mounted flush to the drywall or recessed 5/8", left of stud the outlet is on the right ground pins up, the photos show right of stud. The 125v/low voltage separator pops out from the face assembly long enough to make hot side-wire(s) simpler. It's placement means the middle NM punch-outs are only half usable. The box has 3 pairs of NM/Romex style punch-outs on the top and on the bottom of the box, none on the back or side, and no strain relief. The punch-outs will not accommodate an HDMI or RJ45 or USB male connector (or a keystone, so that's one sort of cable catch). And if you would be thinking to slice out the bottom 3" of the low voltage side of the box, the separator has no guide track to keep it secure, if it is not flush to the plate the bottom of the box has that ½" opening between 125v/LV, and the result certainly isn't UL listed or to the NEC code. And the face itself, 4 keystone blanks are now included (they listened, I guess). The keystone block and outlet are molded and pin locked in, forget about replacing with a brush passthrough or surge outlet. I would suggest a surge outlet such as a T5280 at the previous hop on the branch, and wire this media outlet's branch circuit to load on that surge suppression outlet in that box. And the keystones have 1/8" clearance to the edges of the recess, really only the central middle keystone can accommodate a larger plug. Same 1/8" applies to the neutral and ground pin top and bottom, with 1/2" clearance from the edge of the neutral spade to the side. The new and old fire stick usb power bricks cannot fit on the spades adjacent to the edge outlet, but the older fire stick usb power brick just squeezes in safely in the other, the new one with room to spare, so should be easy to find a brick in your odds and ends drawer that will do the job for similar HDMI sticks if the existing USB power brick was too big to fit. So in short, if you are pulling in the wire cables and terminating all in place to keystones, not pulling HDMI, don't expect to slip more cables in later without unscrewing the box, I give the look and features 5 stars. But that isn't what most people are doing anymore, and I value that 3⅝" of insulation I'd be giving up on a box that can't be especially insulated. My 2023 assessment is a meager 3, and by 2025 it will have declined to 1 star left.

Outlet for behind the TV
Purchased this recessed outlet for behind my tv. This is the second one I have installed. I like this model because the outlet is separated in the box by a piece of plastic. Some of the outlet boxes that work the same way do not have this and I was concerned running my network and HDMI cable so close to the electricity I would get interference. This outlet comes with filler pieces to fit in all the square ports you do not use. I purchased the network and hdmi jacks so I have a nice clean setup for my tv. I am going to drill out one of the plastic squares so that I can run my IR blaster to my FIOS box which will be in the closet behind my TV. Over all I think this is the best product out there, the ones they sell at the box stores is much cheaper in design and closer to $29 and this unit is closer to $25 in the stores. Update - got the HDMI adapter and you have to make sure the cable you use has a short plug, I had to drill out the back of the box because the cable I had would not bend enough for the faceplate to be screwed in.

Worked great for LCD TV mounted above fireplace
This product actually worked very well for me. I was very happy with it. It installed quick, easy, and with very few issues. I installed this about 10 months ago so I could hang my TV over the fireplace in my living room. I can see the other reviewer's point about the grey housing box not having dog ears to be more retro fit friendly, but if you are installing this behind a TV that is going to be mounted on the wall there should be a stud near since that's what you'll attach your TV wall mount too. I filled the keystone inserts with a coax insert, HDMI insert, yellow rca for composite video, and red/blue/green rca inserts for component video. I also ran into the same situation with the hole tabs in the grey box for the wires to fit through, but that was easily solved with a cordless drill and a 1" paddle bit. Took 20 seconds to drill the hole in the box and then I had plenty of room for the wires. Not every Lowes carries this product and even if it's a few bucks cheaper you still pay tax on it where this has free shipping and most states no tax so it's kind of a wash, and a life saver for those people who their stores don't carry it. Overall, besides a few minor inconveniences (that were easliy and quickly solved) I would recommend this product to anyone. Just plan ahead, make sure you have a stud, and if the provided holes aren't big enough for your wires, just drill a bigger one. I don't think this product deserves a 1 or 2 star rating.

Opening for wiring and cables are to small and requires modification.
A single wall plate with electrical on one side and 6 ports on the other is hard to find so I was happy to have found this and at a reasonable price. The installation of the box was easy but the openings to run multiple cables and electrical through are to small. For that many ports it should have been an open style on the port side of the gang. I had to grind out the opening wider with a dremel to fit that many cables (CAT6A) through the opening. If it weren't for that I'd have given it a 5 star. I'd love to see a flush plate as I'm not excited about the recessed look.

Good Product
good product overall. would be nice if the knockouts were more in line with a normal gang box. these ones are smaller and a nuisance to open up.

Go with a different model or brand for HDMI/TV
Not sure what they intended this to be used with but box doesn't accommodate HDMI cables or ethernet cables without having to be drilled. Because of this it doesn't fit flush against the wall Ina retrofit because it cannot accommodate those HDMI. Over priced waste.

Questionable design, not TR
Comes with a plastic box with a flimsy separator between the line voltage and communication line side, and it doesn't fit in a regular metal box. I'm really not impressed. I don't think the separation is sufficient and I doubt it would be up to code. Also there are no cable clamps, just those little notches in the plastic that keep nmd90 cable in place. Not sure how you're even supposed to get communication cables inside without drilling holes. Oh, v and the outlet isn't even TR. I had to return it.

Not approved for canada. Not a fan of the box or cover design as in the event you want to change a keystone you need to expose the receptacle as well, and if you need to change the receptacle you need to change the entire face plate including the keystone portion.
