Much bigger than needed!

Yes, you read that right: Since I read the other reviews about how "small" this wet bag is, I expected to receive something small, which is what I needed. I'm not sure why some reviewers are saying this is small, any bigger and it'd be a laundry bag! I measured it and it is about 14" tall and roughly 12" wide when only partially filled. I only needed this for wet wipes that I make on my own, so I have no clue what to do with the extra space - it looks huge hanging from my baby's changing table. If it were 2/3 the size I'd be happy. Also, from the pictures the outside of the bag looks glossy, so I thought it may be vinyl (or similar material) which would be easy to clean - it's actually a thin cloth material with a thin, laminated inside. I thought it would be thicker so I'm not too impressed there for the price. However, it seems to do a decent job holding odors from baby's dirty wipes (for now), so I guess it works. If you are using this for cloth diapers, I would say you could fit PLENTY of them in this. It really is not "small" as others have described, it's more the size of a regular grocery store shopping bag. Overall, it's overpriced but does the job. Dimensions on the product page would've helped; since I only use it for about 30 wipes, I didn't need something this large and likely would have gone with another bag. ______________ UPDATE 4/2012: I've stopped using this for cloth wipes since having another baby, as I don't have the time for washing & preparing them. I've been using it to hold dirty diapers (since I don't keep baby #2 in the nursery where the diaper pail is) and this holds A LOT of disposable diapers. I'd say I was able to fit about 25 diapers in this (and yes I did get to fill it, newborns go a lot!). By the time I had it filled the whole thing smelled pretty bad, so you probably don't want to hold much more than that... But for the most part it does its job, there wasn't much of an odor until the bag needed emptying. I've had this wet bag for about 7 months now, it's been through almost weekly washes and still looks new, so I'm happy about that. Very durable.

This bag is awesome and well built

I got one of these 8.5 years ago for my own baby, she still uses it today, but now for wet swimsuits and going to the beach. I'm so happy to be able to purchase this latest one for a friend who will be having a baby soon. With one baby and washing every 2-3 days this wet bag is large enough to store all the dirty diapers and covers in, which is how I used it for diapers.

Seam tape comes undone

Seam tape detaches and breaks the odor seal after a few diaper laundry worthy washes. But I kove the shape and it holds a lot so it's not that bad.

Pretty good wet bag

I like the shape of the bag and it does hold moisture and smell pretty well. I have noticed some moisture does come through the steam at the bottom of the bag and you can start to smell it if diapers have been in there more than one day. We usually wash every two days so it's not too bad, but I have another bag that's better

Works as a trash can liner too!

In our nursery we have 2 hampers & 2 trash cans. One hamper for baby's clothes, one for baby's cloth diapers & wipes. We use the matching KangaCare quinn plaid diaper pail liner for diapers. We use flushable diaper liners in his dipes to catch poo. Because the nursery is at the opposite end of our house as the bathroom, we had a bad habit of leaving the poopy diapers next to the diaper pail "til later". So I put a small trash can next to the diaper pail that we could just chuck the soiled liners into until we remember to flush them. But the can I dug out of the attic doesn't have a lid so you can guess the next problem. ... I really didn't want to buy a new can since this one matches his trash can for the nursery. Started looking for small diaper pail liners which apparently don't exist. Started looking for large wet bags but they're all shaped like an envelope which won't work for this application. Then looked for washable small trash can liners- only found one and not only does that one not close but it was too big for the 3.5 gallon can I have. Finally stumbled upon this round large wet bag and the dimensions seemed like it would probably work so Viola! The best part for me is that it matches the liners we already use in his room. I bought one for the trash can since the only thing we throw in there is one biodegradable disposable overnight diaper a day that we just dump in the compost pile every 2 weeks anyhow. And one of these obviously for the poop can. I leave the trash can one open and spread around the opening of the trash can which stays quite nicely. We leave the poop can one shut and it does a great job of containing the smell.

great big wet bag

this bag is super, it holds around 6-8 nappies, so its more or less 1 day worth of dirty nappies. Great for a weekend or a night away. Big and a nice zip around. Highly recommend if you have budget for this wet bag

Much better than Nappy bucket!

So I read somewhere that a wet bag would be better than a nappy pail and I 100% agree. Been using wet bag now for 4 months with our cloth nappies and it's fab. They keep in the smell and to wash you just turn inside out and put bag in too - brilliant and mess free - and no cleaning a bucket. They also dry really quickly. Worth the money. I bought two so ones in wash whilst ones being used.

Reliable wetbags!

I love these wet bags for my cloth nappies. The shape makes it far easier to slide the nappies in and the zips are excellent quality.

Bad waterproofing seems

Good sized bag, however the pul came away from the outer cover around the seems after one wash so disappointing in that respect
